I don't believe you have too much to worry about.

The Panthers have limited cap space with numerous needs to address.

Drafting a QB and bringing in an affordable vet is most likely what they'll end up doing.

Possible, but salary cap space can be created if needed.

Can't create draft picks, of course. Those just have to be used wisely.

I mean you can create draft picks by trading players or future picks, it's just not in your control whether another team is interested in working with you

As was said on The Roar. Our ceiling with Carr is the Cousins Vikings. I have higher hopes and aspirations for this team then just making the playoffs and then getting beat by a team that can exploit Carrs weaknesses.
Like what happens every time the Vikings make the playoffs.

Dan gets it!!!

Dan isn't saying anything anyone with half a football brain doesn't already know. We need to get the right QB of those that are available, if we choose to go QB in the draft. Whether or not we will be able to remains to be seen. So much depends on what Chicago will do and if they will try to maximize that pick and still get my guy. If I was Chicago, I'd be trying to sell 1 to Houston and 2 to Indy pitting them against Carolina. They end up at 4, still get a bunch of extra picks, and get either Anderson or Carter at 4. That would be a massive win for them, IMO.

You missed the main point.. We need to draft and develop and stop with the bandaids!!!

We have to many QB developers on roster.. Finally a young and functional Oline.. And a young defense ready for the next step..

TAKE THE SHOT!!!

The bandaids were all under Rhule and you have to be able to get your guy. If Chicago plays it the way I suggested, Stroud and Young are gone. If Indy offers more for 1, both are gone. At that point, are we as confident in Levis or AR as a fit or being able to develop properly to pay 2 or3 1sts to move up to 3? I don't disagree with taking a shot as long as it's the right one. Rhule was all about the bandaids. Different coach, different rules now.

Band aids are a case by case basis. You dont just rule out a whole resource group.

    • He has made some good throws yes. His arm isn’t great by any professional measure though It might be decent enough, but the poor footwork inhibits it.  So he has to really focus on that and from what I’ve seen he is not consistent.    peace.
    • If only Bryce were 8'1" then CJ wouldn't have needed Woody Marks to carry him against the Titans nor the defense to carry him with 3 picks vs. Cooper Rush. If he were a real QB, he'd have thrown for over 250yds and the Texans wouldn't be 2-3. /s See? I can do the same dumb, lame poo that y'all do. Doesn't this make the board a better experience overall? 🙂
    • Their defense is on track to be worse than ours last year. Their run D is in the bottom half but their pass D is horrible.    32nd overall D, 32nd passD, 23rd rush D We are going to have to throw the ball against them, which means down field where they are vulnerable. Problem is Turnover Fred struggles to push the ball down the field and we have the 26th ranked pass offense. Running will help but will have to beat them through the air. On the flip side, Dallas’ offense is awesome.    1st overall, 3rd pass, 8th run.    But Evero’s defense is ranked 12th right now with the pass D around 10th and rush D around 14th.    If we can take care of the football (looking at Bryce) and we make plays down the field (also looking at Bryce) we can win, yes.
