Kyler Murray struggles are in part due to his height. I imagine Young will as well. Unfortunately Bryce doesn't have near the scrambling ability to help keep him clean.

Murray is a superior athlete but I think Young is a superior QB. When you have to put clauses in a QB's contract to force him to watch film...

Murray's struggles are about 98% between his ears.

Not really he has pretty much been hurt every year and that greatly affects his playing style.  He didnt like to move out of the pocket before this season and I am think he hates it even more after tearing his acl.   Murrays game was all about movement in the pocket and rolling out but when he is contained he fuging sucks

I honestly think it's because he pretty much just relies on sheer raw talent. Hence why they tried to include clauses in his contract to actually force him to watch film and study up.

Keep him contained and he struggles. Let him play backyard football and he plays well.

    • And you know this how? Stay in your lane, junior. I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than you, am a whole lot more experienced with life, and have watched football in earnest probably longer than you've been alive. I agree, but I was talking directly about injuries. As far as the economics, I'm assuming that Moton would have to take a pay cut and would probably be compelled to if he wants to stay in Charlotte. He seems like a thoughtful and practical guy. He knows that he's getting older and realizes the nature of the business. Hell, last time there were were questions on whether he would be here the last season. Dan and Brandt were dialing up the pressure. I don't think they're going to go into any type of contractual extension discussions without having a backup plan--i.e., a person that will appear to be Moton's replacement. And, to be honest, that person may be Moton's replacement depending how things go. But, I get the impression that Moton wants to be in Charlotte (unless he's developed some undying desire to chase a championship somewhere else).
    • It would be pretty fun with something like this. 3 on 3 the first 5 minutes, 2 on 2 the next 5 minutes (after a stoppage), then 1 on 1 (after a stoppage) the rest of the way. I just feel like this would be equal parts entertaining and chaos to watch
    • I'm more surprised our odds to win the division didn't really improve that much after free agency (like +380 -> + 320). I threw a few hundred on us to win the division again at +425 back in February, just because I figured Atlanta and Tampa would get worse. After our free agency, I am still surprised Tampa is the favorite to win the division.
