If they want someone that can start day 1, that only leaves 1, maybe 2 QBs(Young and maybe Stroud). Levis is not ready to start.

If Levis isn’t ready to start after playing in pro style systems and being 24 when the season starts then we shouldn’t draft him. All 3 should start day 1. AR is the only one of the top projected 4 if we drafted that should sit half a season or more.

No matter who reports it…I am not sure why the Panthers not being interested in a rookie qb that’s nowhere close to being NFL ready is that hard to believe.

I remember a lot of fans talking about how great Gil Brandt was when he spoke positively of Cam Newton prior to the draft.

Later on, when Brandt pointed up some issues in a then veteran Newton's game, some of those same fans came back and called him an old codger.

It's a time-honored Huddle tradition that a reporter's reliability depends mostly on whether or not you agree with their opinion. So if you think the Panthers should draft Anthony Richardson, Kunkel's likely a hack right now 😕

Doesn't matter what we do, there will be a sizeable faction of the Huddle who thinks we've paved the way to a dynasty and a roughly equally sizeable faction who thinks we've doomed ourselves to a decade of bottom feeding.

I totally trust the coaching staff... Until they make a decision that I disagree with 😕

Gil Brandt and Will Kunkel, truly on the same plain.

From what I saw of Levis this past season, he needs more time in the oven.

Oh yeah, that's absolutely what I meant by that analogy 🙄

Okay, what did you mean? People here are giving Kunkel poo for being a nobody that seems to make less than accurate predictions. How is Gil Bradnt, someone's who career in the NFL that spanned decades, analogous to him?

    • I don't think so. I think once you're measuring electronically, the spot is where the sensor says it is. So if it says half yard short of the line to gain, that's the spot. Now how that works with scrums and the ball moving on two minute drills and poo is anybody's guess.
