I've always been of the impression that Moore was a decent (not star) WR. He can be replaced. You cannot replace a franchise QB though, which is what we feel like we have with this trade.

I’m guessing we are hitting FA WR’s at this point or are going to spend a year with a below mediocre crew before fixing it next year.

I’m in the same boat. Chicago was just in a position where they had Mooney at 1, and he’s a great #2, and no other guy on the roster who was higher than a four anywhere else. 
 

Now they have Moore at the 1, Mooney at 2, Claypool at 3…that’s a good young group. 
 

What do we have? TMJ is our current 1.

Two firsts, two seconds and DJ. So that means DJ was valued at a first round pick. Hate losing him, but solid value.

Nah. Unless DJ wanted out(which he very well may have wanted) it’s not worth giving up your best player at a position for a pick, even if it’s the first pick. Something in me suspects DJ wanted out of Carolina though. 

Which also tells me both him and the coaches don’t expect this team to be a competitor next year.
