I think Hardman is not that good---I am in the minority--I am guessing either or both of the Giants WRs or Chark.

Correct.  Hardman is in fact, not good.

Chark is good, but tends to get injured every time he's on the field.

Slayton is the guy I think makes a lot of sense.  Would be a consistent presence that you need around a bunch of unknowns.

didn't slayton have a really bad year in NYG? who was it that barely played that was making all that money?

Speculation on who they're there to see?

Probably not the guys they're mentioning. I'd be looking at the non-1st round Clemson prospects. Two guys who come to mind are EDGE K.J. Henry and TE Davis Allen.

I mean, Clemson is one of the top college football programs in the nation and they're virtually in our backyard. It'd be negligent not to have a strong presence there.

Clemson draft eligible players:

Myles
Murphy

DE 268lbs 6-5 4.57

Bryan
Bresee

DT 298lbs 6-6 4.86

Trenton
Simpson

LB 235lbs 6-2 4.43

K.J.
Henry

DE 251lbs 6-4 4.63

Lannden
Zanders

S 210lbs 6-1 4.56

Jordan
McFadden

OG 303lbs 6-2 4.99

Davis
Allen

TE 245lbs 6-6 4.84

Joseph
Ngata

WR 217lbs 6-3 4.54

Keep in mind they could be looking at guys to trade back into late rounds or potential UDFA. My guess on the main target of that group would be KJ Henry in mid-late rounds. I don't know much about Jordan McFadden but we could use IOL depth, and he had the 7th highest athleticism score for guards at the combine. McFadden is currently a borderline draft/UDFA guy who could be a good addition late. He played OT at Clemson.
