You mean when they just removed the blue outline on the panther head and changed the whiskers? That was fairly subtle. It was a little 90's dated but I still liked/like it

talking about this change. fans hated it badly at the time.

Anything is better than this:

I cringed when I saw that in 1995, but i was so excited about a team.  I was a colt fan--not used to 3 primary colors.  Those numbers look like Walmart.  The faces of these guys tells it all.  You know they are interns or office workers who got paid $20 to put these on for reporters--and they look a bit embarrassed.  Or they should.

It really is.  TO be fair--I do not like the blue--you can't see the Panther logo's left whiskers.  Throws off the balance.

I actually don't mind the blue, either.  But, you are right about the whiskers disappearing, as does most of the outline on the logo.  Probably have to change the whiskers to white and use a thin white outline on the entire logo to make it work.

Good color, just a lot disappears into it.  Better than wearing black on hot, sunny days the first half of the season.

The 3 stripes on the shoulder just look like the logo from Monster energy drink 🤣

I’m against making the lines claw marks as well. Very arena league

    • He has attempted 8 shootout goals in his NHL career and made 1. He is among our worst SO guys on the entire roster in terms of career stats.
    • Against Miami, the Panthers were behind by 17 in the 2nd quarter facing a 4th - 5. Young completed a 21 yard pass and they went on to score 7 on that drive. Then in the 4th, down by 4, they faced a 4th - 5 and again, he completed a 17 yard pass and they went onto score a TD for the win. He also accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's.  As I said, he got them in that mess and no doubt, Rico gets credit as well, but missing on either of those 4th down conversions hands the ball over and results in 1 or 2 less TD's giving them a loss. As you said though, that's just a small quibble. The real question is how does the FO see it?  I am guessing they see it as something to build on. I think most peope here see it as a total loss and fully expect the FO to see it that way as well. Time will tell.
    • Kochetkov is just too streaky. TBD if Freddie is doing that too. Freddie is the more reliable goalie over his career. The Bussi kid looks like he could be a solid #2 eventually.  Just need to figure out the #1 guy. Same as almost every year. It's not talent, it's consistency and being able to step up in the playoffs.
