Yep, if they are seriously dialed in on Young and he is the pick why waste 3 of the 30 visits bringing in the other 3 qbs?

The NFL wants money, ratings, and drama leading up to the draft. Perhaps they're giving Tepper a kickback to keep the questions going.

Don’t mind me I won’t stand in the way of the downplaying of another source. Whatever you want to call it to help the cause.

Cool, but he clearly says its his opinion.  Its not a source or a report.  I mean tomorrow someone is going to start a thread that the panthers are in love with Stroud.  Then Friday and reverts back to young.  The draft cannot get here soon enough.  Although I do think we will know 100% who the pick is a week or so from now.

If this is a bit to get houston to trade (which I dont believe) then they would just have Young in for a visit to see if they bite.  The NFL would love for the #1 pick to be traded 2x

They are 100% giving the other QBs every opportunity to change their minds. No reason to not do proper due diligence.

Feel bad for Chris

He has really been through it the past few years

That treatment for stage 4 throat cancer in January sure has taken a toll on him

My first thought. I havent watches ESPN outside of live sporting events in probably 5 years and this was the first I've seen him since then.

My God he looks unrecognizable. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Starting to see the pattern, everytime somebody says they think its Young a new thread is created.    Lol

This is true. If there was a thread made everytime a "draft expert" said it it was Stroud, nothing else would be on the front page.

Same. Hate to see it.

He and John Clayton used to be the kings of insider info.

Me peacocking aside I agree with you, I’m curious when that point is.

    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
