I'm always extremely impressed with Thomas Brown when he has pressers. He's calm, poised, and answers everything with good enough detail that you understand what he's talking about but not too much where he gives stuff away. He has the right temperament to be a really good head coach one day. I do hope he sticks around long enough to get play calling duties here and so we can get comp picks for whenever he does leave.

Someone needs to tell Brown to stand a little closer to the mic so people can hear him better.

They've been horrible at this presser audio for years, closed captioning can't even pick up the questions the majority of the time

I like him a lot.  Hopefully we can keep him around for a while, but I think he will be getting a HC job before too long...

Q:Your thoughts on Bryce young at five foot ten.
Brown :I never cared about it.   It was never an issue in my opinion just for me. I evaluate tape.  We're still playing football. If we were in a competition for the tallest the biggest the fastest the strongest like it's an overall combine deal then maybe  I would.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
