Was on twitter when I came across this clip of an interview Bozeman did yesterday where he told the reporter that Bryce gave the O-line a presentation on protections the other day.
 

Not to like overly hype Bryce but I feel like that’s kind of an insane thing for a rookie to do or even have the confidence to do. If the play on the field matches a lot of what we’ve heard about him, man we could have somebody special on our hands.

I would hope not, and I’m sure I mean the coaches approved of it before hand. It’s probably more so a thing of making sure everyone is on the same page with language and communication. I don’t think he was in there telling them how to pass set or anything lmaoo

QBs are part of setting protections, and these guys are professionals... Plus Bryce, while confident, doesn't sound arrogant. So I think there's no need for worry on it coming off the wrong way.

But wow, very impressive for a rookie QB so early in his career...

I had heard ryan kalil was in charge of protections for Cam tho

I think it varies from system to system. Some use the center to ID the Mike and set protections and others put a lot of that on the QB.
 

Frank has been on the record in saying that our offense will put a lot on the QB as far as audibles and protections so that may be the difference here.

This is borderline insane!! There are only a few select QBs to  be that detailed coming in. I'm talking all time great Qbs. Not crowning him now but his work ethic is definitely  something we all could be impressed with. Most Qbs are getting playbooks scaled back until year 3 and he out here doing presentations.

      My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us

      Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough

      I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
