Predictably I forgot this game was on until this morning.

Don't read the headlines and think they're right then.

Headlines read to me that Zach Wilson had a "good game." He played two series and looked meh at best.

I read the article when I saw that. He had one good throw and then the offense moved pretty much the same it has always moved with him under center, badly.

I think he is a bust, but he may trick people into giving him another chance on another team over and over again for some unknown reason like a certain other player.

He will. NFL Coaches are stupid.

That was the issue I had as well...

I tried to watch it just to see how the Jets backups look. I couldn't watch the game but the commentating was so bad that I just couldn't listen. Collinsworth needs to retire, i simply cannot listen to any game he's involved with. I checked in once every quarter just to check the score because that's was all I could stomach.

quote this post, DTR will be Cleveland's starting QB within 3 years of Watson flopping.

Dunno about Cleveland, but he's going to be someone's starter in 3 years for sure. He's got that Mahomes-like ability to play against professionals and make it looks like a back-yard pickup game. He plays like a kid, and you love to see it!

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
