PFF - CB CJ Henderson: 28.3

Fine is a funny way to describe henderson

The last CB spot goes to the winner of STO and Taylor.  We don't keep both. Henderson is a lock, I think and as long as he's not a starter due to an injury, I'm okay with that.  For what he is, a back up in spot duty role, is fine.

I’d honestly try to get away with putting Corral on the PS. I feel like if you carry three QB’s then all of them need to add value and what I mean by that is that all of them need to be able to win you a game. I don’t think Corral is capable of that right now.

I was not a Corral guy but I wouldn’t totally give up on him. His first year was a complete wash. At least guys like Howell and Willis were able to get practice reps and even a few game reps, both have since shown remarkable growth. I’d give Corral one more year to show that he can also grow as a player but I’d want him to do it on the PS.

I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing in Grier or another young QB that has shown some talent and making them QB3 while trying to store Corral on the PS. If at that point another team wants to put Corral on their active roster then so be it. And as far as a trade, I really don’t see any team that would be willing to give up draft capital for Corral.

At this point I would feel incredibly comfortable saying I doubt any team poaches MC if we move him the to the PS

Tremble is young and has some potential. Henderson gives us some depth at least. Jordan should’ve been released after Friday’s game. He’s useless.

Not sure what you are seeing as potential with Tremble.  And Henderson shouldnt even be in the league at this point, between giving up a td at least once a game and his penalties whatever he "contributes" as a depth piece is automatically negated by his play on the field.  Dude pussied out Friday night tackling a qb.   Eff him

    • That might balance out because apparently the Texans O-line is ass. He did manage to throw for almost 300 yards the last two weeks though.
    • Don't forget that Rhule actually took Tepper's offer to the Giants and they balked. He was just seeking the big payday which should have been a red flag. I have no idea how much time Tepper spends within the Panthers building. I do know that he in the past has been too much involved. He supposedly held weekly meetings with Reich. Then after firing Reich Tepper he held a press conference where he did virtually all the talking and made it about himself. Before that Tepper went out of his way to bloviate to the press about how he spoke to Bryce Young months before the draft and directly told him he wanted him to be a Panther. Then he went to the well of his selling point about Bryce being a point guard and we wouldn't need to invest in elite weapons. The guy thinks and talks like he knows what he's doing. At the end of the day the franchise has been in the gutter in large part due to he and his wife's involvement. It is what it is. Appreciate the convo.
    • Unlike most of you, I do not assume the FO thinks he is beyond repair.  For the first time since 2017 the Panthers have a chance to be in the playoffs. One more game will tie them for the most wins since 2018, 2 more wins will put them at 8 wins - the most in 8 years.  Hate all you want but a big part of that success has come from Bryce. He got them in the hole with Miami but he got them out of it as well and was a big part of that win. Against Dallas, he played very well throughout the game plus he converted on a 4th down in the final minutes putting them in FG range for the win. He may not have had a good game against the Packers but he did convert on two 3rd down conversions in the final minutes to help seal the win and of course the Falcons game was his best yet. Tepper likes him and they have a huge investment in him as well. You don't just throw that away unless you have something concrete lined up behind him - which I just don't see.
