If Foreman is truly cut (doubt it) need to be the first person we call.

Agreed.  But, I don't think it's coincidental he only really blew up like he did with us and can't stick anywhere else...  he clearly is talented, but he excels in a specific type of system - like the one we ran once Wilks took over last season.

And tbh, I don't know that any of us really know what kind of system we're planning to run here this year under Reich/Brown, considering they were also experimenting with it dueing the preseason.  Gonna be interesting...  but I loved me some Foreman.

I'd take him over any of our backups in any system.  If he is on waivers then no, but if we can just sign him then why not

Z knight should be looked at

When I was looking at RB depth, he was one of the names that jumped out.  Not gonna lie, if Sanders gets bitten by the injury bug, we could be in for a long year.  It's a catch 22, while the RB market has dried up in value, try operating an offense without a true RB1 unless you have a Mahommes, Burrow or Allen all-star QB1 in place.  Bryce isn't there yet.

Why would they cut Foreman? Thats crazy. If they cut him, we should be calling him right after.

I was surprised when I heard this as well. Guys on WFNZ were talking about it the other day. I don't recall anyone giving a good reason.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
