I admittedly can't stand Deion. He's a grifter all about Deion. All eyes on him always. Prime Academy was a complete grift and people just conveniently forget about that. He was all about some HBCU until a better opportunity came calling. Now he's larping around in a Cowboy hat at Colorado until a better opportunity comes calling again

If you enjoy the entertainment aspect of it, I get it. But let's not make it out to be something it's not.

No real argument with any of that. Sanders has always been primarily about Sanders.

Lady Cowboy Fan likes Deion because of his Cowboy ties but that's it.

Take away the Prime Academy debacle and I'd feel a lot different. But Prime Academy plus going to the mat for HBCU just to move on at the first chance to do so? It just shows the true nature IMO.

It's funny you guys been doubting Deion since the season started. 3 weeks in and people still waiting for him to lose his 1st game.

This is supposed to be a Cinderella story. Any other coach does this they are viewed as the ultimate underdog. But because it's Deion we have to root against him.

I think we all know they aren't going undefeated. But you can't deny he's off to a hell of a start. Wait until he gets comfortable in the recruiting and transfer portal. This team will absolutely be competing for a Nat'l championship starting next year.

If you don't believe by now then shame on you.

Lol. Wut? I think because it's Deion is why most are rooting against it. It's literally getting thrown in our face 24/7 on ESPN, Fox, etc. Deion last night literally said he was the best coach in CFB. How in the Hell do you expect people to root for this when all that is getting thrown at them?

FYI. I will bet you my checking account Deion won't be competing for a Natty next year because CFB starts in the trenches, and Deion's O-Line and D-Line are shitt, his recruiting class coming in is shitt, and they won't be poo next year.

They're about to get murdered by Oregon this weekend, then USC next week. It's a cute story, but many other former players have done shitt like this before and no one has cared.

It's a cute story but when you realize TCU's roster isn't half of what it was last year (they struggled going into the middle of the 3rd vs a bad, bad Houston team on Saturday night). How awful Nebraska is, and Colorado struggling vs a bad Colorado State. poo's about to get real this weekend in Eugene.

A team like OU which has beat the spread by a whopping 57 points in three weeks is getting no play. They're not playing with their food and winning handedly vs all their competition. When they played SMU week two, they held them to 11 points, while OU scored 28. Yes. SMU got held to 11 points by Oklahoma's defense. SMU just scored 69 points and allowed zero over the weekend. It wouldn't shock me, if SMU beat TCU. This isn't last years TCU team.

I like Deion as an Atlanta Brave,  but never liked him as a football player.   He is truly a Hall of Famer, but I just don't care for his constant "chatter" .  ( funny thing is, I loved Cam's ,,,  but he played for my team ) .

Personally I think he'll be able to recruit just fine.  high school players and transfer are eating this up,,  the success he's had a Jackson St and now Colorado .

I like what Mike Elko has done at Duke more.

One of my old pastors used to say that it was funny how when someone got "called" to a different church, it always seemed to be a bigger church with a higher salary.

Skip reported it on Undisputed this morning. Said he will be out 3-4 weeks.

Skip Bayless reported Monday that Hunter will miss 3-4 with a lacerated liver, though Sanders didn't confirm whether that's the exact injury Hunter is dealing with.

All of this Colorado hype is comical. I mean the guy had lil wayne performing as they walked out of the tunnel....in Boulder, CO. I'm not buying any of this hype at this point.

The Buffs better enjoy it, he'll bolt in a couple years for the next opportunity.

He also had The Rock on campus all day. He's had ton of other celebrities as well. Not sure why Lil Wayne stands out. He's also on both ESPN and Fox debate shows.

This has always been Prime.

I just meant the godawful performance during their walkout. I know wayne has toured the facility during the offseason and whatnot.

Yep. HBCU was really important to Deion at that time because Deion happened to be coaching at an HBCU. Now he's strutting around Boulder looking like Lil Nas X. 😂

    • So the last guy who had the job got hired by his former team directly into a role he has no direct experience in?
    • Hard to pass up millions for a couple of days work per week for a coaching gig in the NFL that is 60-80 hours each week during the season and a more relaxed 50 hours a week during the off season. Yeah, I'd love to see him as our DC but hard to see him giving up the cushy job there if he gets it. And he's going to be a great commentator for the network.
    • Really, I think that is where negotiations come in. If you've got a QB getting you to 10 wins but statistically he's not a great performer, then you say look you can take $22 million or you can try it on the market. Because let's face it, out there, any leadership skills that we're seeing aren't going to be on the table, it's just going to be performance and that lands him in the QB2 market, which is much, much less lucrative (although any of us would love that money).  No one is saying that Bryce will be a $50 million QB, barring something short of a miraculous jump. I'm just saying that if we are winning somehow with him at the helm, then it would be fuging stupid to dive back into the rookie pool all over again. Let's say we do hit the 10 win mark, heck, let's call it 11 and a second round in the playoffs. I think we can all say that would be a really uplifting result and one that should be doable if we have good play. What do we do then? Here's what I would offer if I were Morgan and Tepper. $25 million a year for 3 years, each year with up to $10 million in incentives for touchdowns, wins, playoff depth, being under 10 interceptions, completing a full season, passing yardage milestones, taking less than 15 sacks. Look, Bryce isn't a Ferrari, he isn't a Corvette, or a mid-level BMW. He's probably a new Toyota Sienna that will definitely get you somewhere and bring the whole team along with it, no fuss but not a lot of pizazz.  And really, it's about the destination, not about what drove you there.
