Finally some optimism!  Not sure why everyone thinks the Panthers have regressed since last season.  We should have beat them in the dome last year with PJ freaking Walker.

Because we are resetting our entire team with a new coaching staff, new players, and an entirely new defensive scheme. We also didn't see many reasons to be excited in Fall Camp or the preseason games. Aaron Rodgers ate our defenses lunch in joint practices.

It may be close this week, but NFL games can be close and still be domination.

24-20 Failcons- hoping for the best but expecting to loose. Will be there in person to start the Bryce Dynasty. Would love to be wrong and start his legacy right. Bijan rushes for North of 120 yards.

The last time I had a Falcons player on my fantasy team who played the Panthers, he went for 300 some receiving yards.

Ended up wishing him luck on Sunday… he was with Tem Lebaku and the wives. He was well spoken and very generous.  Thanked me/us for being fans.

You should have given him a play or two, see if he'll use it

Falcons are sooo overrated. Ridder is not him.

Spoken like a fan who tend to make bias opinions on opposing teams especially concerning Ridder who i can only assume you never seen him play before. I have watched play as a Bearcat and wanted us to draft him instead of Corral as most pro teams noticed how flawed he was at Ole Miss but Rhule fell for as strong arm and convince the FO to trade a 3rd and 4th round pick to trade up for him Lol. Belichick just waived him as well.

After tomorrow game, you going to wish we have drafted Ridder as well, trust me.

Go Panthers!

Ok Ridder fan boy

On the contrary, he was the reason why the Bearcats was so good. He should have been selected in the 1st round instead of Pickett who is overrated. Steelers going to regret their decision so well. If we had drafted Ridder last year, we wouldn't have needed to trade most of our draft capitol just to be able to draft Bryce. At least we didn't draft CJ so kudos there.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
