Born and raised in Charlotte, grew up loving the Heels, graduated from App State.  It's a complicated existence, but I make it work.  Pulled like hell for UNC to knock off SC last weekend, would love an App win today in CH but I know we're playing against Maye with house money.

Football?  Maybe, I do think ratings are going to continue to decline and all these schools that depend on Football money are going to have big problems in 10-15 years.  

College sports as a whole though is going to be around longer than any of us will.

I’m just trolling. My wife is an app undergrad and UNC grad school grad. Most of family went to app or nc state. I’m trolling and somehow get the same reactions every week, every year.

      You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).

      In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
