Just dream

Pretty sure he’ll go before our pick in the 2nd. We had a chance to draft one of the many talented rookie TEs but we turned down the Burns trade and took Mingo. Fitt is basically Hurney 2.0 with worse results in the 1st.

Bowers will most likely be at least a top 10 pick, if not top 5. Dude is a game changer and true #1 target plus is a very willing and able blocker.

And yeah, the Panthers should have taken one of the TEs in the last draft. There were several of us that were saying that every week leading up to and during the draft.

I'm shocked that Ian Thomas still sucks and Hurst is still playing like a former 1st round disappointment of a journeyman. Paying players like they're a lot better than they are shockingly doesn't make them play better. That's the classic Hurney folly.

So you’re not going to acknowledge plays like this are out of Bryce’s control? He did his job to put up points here.

If Thomas catches that or if Chark catches his slant Young puts up over 200 passing yards and a TD which is what a lot of us were wanting.  Chark was fighting through contact at least but Thomas's drop was a complete blunder.

You have to hit Ian in the facemask and hope it gets wedged between the bars for a completion.  Bryce almost did it.

Mango ready to Tango!

Mingo a flat out scrub. Wasted pick once again from Fitt.

I’m not writing off Mingo yet. He wasn’t the best pick for what we needed because he was still pretty raw, but he should have a good ceiling with his size/speed.

Hurst caught like a 4 yarder over the middle and got up acting like he had just won the super bowl.

To be fair, it's not just him - celebrations are just over the top across the board these days. I'm not anti-celebration at all but it's like the WWE out there right now.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
