Mahomes sat for a year. Rodgers rode pine for multiple. Manning stunk it up in year one. Brees was trending bust after his first stop with the Chargers. Huddle legend Trevor Lawrence was cheap his first season(and honestly doesn't look like he is trending towards elite).

Sometimes it just doesn't work out the way it looks it was going to.

Manning was 2nd in voting for Rookie of the year behind Randy Moss.

Sure he threw alot of picks but he flashed just as much.

Everybody knew the Colts had their franchise guy just had to build around him.

I'm not sure what we have yet. But right now there's no comparison.

Are you agreeing to the “game” or just naming busts? I’m curious to see how it goes.

He mentioned rodgers and Bree’s.   A late first and early second but now he just wants first overall.   So yeah.  That’s comical.   There are far more qbs that started out like poo and didn’t get better vs the mythical had a bad rookie year and still turned it around.   So I will play that game naming qbs that were bad year one and sucked all their career vs guys that turned it around.   The odds are heavily skewed toward the former.

So why use Bree’s and rodgers?  Lol.

Because those are literally all examples of situations/careers that changed over time. I really honestly didn't think that would be that hard to figure out.

Obviously the Huddle is a bit slower than I thought because you aren't even close to the only one to have that go over your head.

It's 3-4 games into these dudes careers. I think we can chill with the hyperbole.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
