I honestly attribute his a lot  “struggles” to Franks handling of TC and preseason and by extension his play calling. He clearly has the training wheels on Bryce and the rest of the team is failing to execute based on a lackadaisical approach to the season.

If you want to write him off after three games, be my guest. But you and several others won’t be able to come back from this when Bryce proves he is the franchise qb the rest of us think he will be.

why does he have the training wheels on?

I have no idea what's going on but everyone within the Panthers organization was giving off the vibe that Bryce was way ahead of where anyone expected him to be and we treated preseason as such. We treated preseason like we were a vet team expected to make a SB run. Everything seemed super confident even though we looked pretty terrible. No big deal many said. "LOL! It's preseason!" we heard over and over. Then the regular season arrived and it's looked like a continuation of preseason.

At some point some reality has to start sinking in.

Because he has an inept philosophy on developing a rookie qb. He’s never really had one as coach. Didn’t call plays in Philly as an OC, revolving door in Indy. In short, he doesn’t know what he’s doing. And building this “all-star” coaching staff full of boomers who coached when offenses were centered around a running game doesn’t help.

You are clearly entrenched in your position. Go yell at the clouds or something.

So Smith tells fans to relax and have some patience and suddenly he is Tepper's minion.

JT does a film review and he doesn't always know what he is talking about (unless it's any other QB).

We have someone post a play by play review with video evidence and shows some positivity and they are just trying to desperately salvage this situation.

Regardless there is some progressions.  Game 1- 52.6% 3.8 yards avg with 146 total yards.  Game 2- 66.7% 4.6 avg 153 total yards.  Game 3- 78.1% 6.4 avg 204 total yards.  Ratings jumps from 48.8 to 87.1 to 93.2.  Despite this terrible OG play and conservative play calling Young IS progressing.

Feel free to put me on ignore. But don't expect to go on a victim tour accusing me of attacking you personally with no critique back. If you can't handle disagreement maybe a place to exchange ideas isn't a good place for you. Sorry if you take that as a personal attack but it honestly feels to me like just pointing out basic reality.

ahha yeah. Btw thanks for the twitter list you provided. You have made my life much easier on content chasing!

Np! I've got to clean it up since we lost a few folks to other squads' beats, but I've kept them in there for myself since I like their work (and it helps with learning about the opposition!).

I don't think anyone here hates Bryce save for one or two people on the extreme end of the spectrum. If you are so dug in on your position because he was your favorite prospect and you don't want to be wrong that you are manufacturing enemies because they are acknowledging his rookie season is going poorly it is probably a sign you should unplug some.

Rookie seasons go poorly all the time. A rookie QB fuging up here and there should be expected. The problem is that people won't really acknowledge who/what the real problem is.

Bryce has only played THREE games, and is trying to play within the scheme he is being taught, with the play makers and protectors that play with him (who have arguably been put into a tough spot themselves if you look at their regression) He's not going to be perfect, but the book has barely begun to be written.

I've acknowledged there are multiple problems. Bryce Young however is at the center of those problems. He's got to adjust and play differently and the coaching staff has to put him in that position. But until proven otherwise defenses are simply not going to be scared of his arm. I don't like it. It's really depressing. But that's the rub.

    • Well bois, we gave the Devils their due! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... The jersey boys have been trying to jack our steeze for a few years now. They've followed our blueprints and studied our tape. Every offseason, they pounce on our sloppy seconds in a Newark minute. Quick with the puck, ferocious on the forecheck and stifling team defense. Down to the colors, this is this closest we'll come to having to play ourselves in Ole Stanley's Hockey Hoedown. As the postseason began, Rod stood flexing in the gym mirror and saw this guy staring back from the void... (Shutters) When beating us at our game didn't work, Timo and the Tri-State Trash tried to tango instead. Outside of a bitchass cheapshot on Freddie, that poo didn't work either. Their goon squad was getting wrecked by our bantam weights. As much as we all wanted to see Svechy or Staal Bunyan literally break someone in half after the Great Dane went down, they didnt need to. Our munchkins were monsters! Jarvis obliterating giants at the blue line, Logan laying the Stank on dudes twice his size and Blakers blasting Timo into next season. It was beautiful to see! (Side note: Does JBlo wear lead weights under his pads? 170lbs shouldn't be able to hit that hard!) We closed it out in 5, for the gentleman's sweep. Only team in the league to win a series in each of the past 7(?) seasons! And, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year... Onto the awards: Key To The Series : 6 for 19 - .316% IT FINALLY WORKED!!! MVP : 16/180 g/s - .911 save% - 2.53 gaa Seriously, without this dude, we would've won in 3! (Trust me bro) 3rd Star : 6/94 g/s - .936 save % - 1.59 gaa The Great Dane   2nd Star : 3 g - 5 a - +1 - 20:38 toi/g - 18 hits - 3 bs - 58.1% fo 3 PP goals and the 2OT series winning goal! WOOAAAHHH NELLY!!!!   And, your 1st Star of the series : 5 g - 1 a - +3 - 16:48 toi/g - 16 hits - 1 bs - 1 tk - 50% fo Zero, I repeat, zero penalty minutes for the series! MISSSTAAAHHH SVEEECHNIKOOOV!!!!!! Onto The Next: Now, we wait for the Habs to make it a nasty 7 game slog, while we recuperate. And, hopefully, get Nikishin, and some of the other black aces some real peactice time. We are gonna need those guys at some point. Because, if you think the Devils were dirty, hoooo boy, wait till you see what's next...
    • I don’t watch college football anymore (used to be Stanford STH but meh), but my wife is Hawaiian and her favorite color is purple, so I guess I knew Tet was my new favorite player to root for when he came out in a purple suit and lei and threw up the Shaka.
