Seeing a lot of Hollywood Brown on Twitter.

Only Fitt would treat a guy who once maxed out at 1008 yards as legit #1 WR

Agree 100%.

I've always thought of him as being similar to Ted Ginn, so I was checking Pro Football Reference stats and Brown's % of dropped passes is actually worse than Ginn's. If the PFR data is accurate, he has more dropped passes (20) in 4 seasons than Ginn had in 13 seasons (16).

I find it hard to believe that ginn only had 16 drops in 13 seasons. That actually seems like a wr that has good hands

Yeah, that can’t be right.  There is drop reel of him just in Carolina on you tube somewhere.  Crazy the numbers he could have had.   He dropped tons of wide open TD balls

Yeah - that's one of the reasons I wanted to caveat the PFR data. I thought he dropped more than that as well. I always felt him making a catch was 50/50 at best even when the ball hit him in the hands.

Man, a burns for juedy 1 for 1 would be tough for fans to accept, you think we could get a pick with Jeudy?

Lol Burns for Juedy isn't even on the table. Jeudy max will net a 2nd, maybe a 3rd. He hasn't had break seasons to net anything more than that.

    • Honestly, it only makes sense if you're trying to chase being the best bad team you can be this year. The number one question we need answered this season is whether or not Bryce is our long-term franchise QB. Trading away a second year WR who was second on the team in catch percentage, first in yards per target, and who clearly outplayed your 1st round pick for a likely one year rental fill in LB is exactly the type of short sighted desperation moves that has made us the worst franchise in the league under Tepper. We gotta stop making these types of moves and just focus on building a good organization and a good roster. Lloyd is a JAG LB another bad team and awful defense is wavering on and a couple of Panthers fans are salivating over him. Oof. We just need to be patient and wait. Definitely make some calls around the league to teams deep at LB and see if there's an opportunity to add one for a late round pick. Definitely shop the waiver wire hard. The reality is that LB is almost certainly going to be a weakness for us this year. We weren't fixing our entire roster in one off-season and we're not fixing an overall weak positional group in late July.  If you trade for Lloyd LB is still a weakness and you've given up a young promising WR who could potentially help you answer the question of whether or not Bryce is that guy. That's bad football business.
    • I think it's because we've had a player to hate on NO (Breese) and Atl (Ryan) while Tampa had Winston who was never really a threat or dislikable like the other 2
    • yeah. it was also reported that Brown was taking it light today because of oblique soreness. Sounds like the 2 of them were a bit too rough with each other for practice.
