Good googly moogly, The defense is giving up almost 30 pts per game.  Did they pack it in already?  The entire Defensive staff is full of great coaching minds.  The players seem out of position on many occasions.  I dont know what it is but everything is so vanilla, the DB's are stuck in the mud, and no one can tackle.  Giving up 144 yards rushing a game.  I expected more than just turnstyles for a defensive front.

Our starting most experienced MLB is out, starting safety is out,  and both starting CBs are out.

Also those early turnovers didn't help lol

Also Detroit just has a good offense in general

Early turnovers fuged them mostly Detroit basically put the game away early scoring off bryces ints and sanders fumble.

The injuries on defense have made things more difficult. Today we had 3 turnovers all of them resulted points for the Lions since they happened on our side of the field. And, our weak offense can’t sustain drives which results with in the defense being on the field too long. I think Evero’s defense would look a lot better if they had a competent offense on the other side of the ball.

Our team just lacks talent at positions to be honest. We keep thinking that our team is solid, obviously we're biased as a fanbase. But when you really look at this team, we don't have any difference makers. Guys that we were hoping to develop and contribute haven't. YGM, Chinn, are about the only players but they would be role players on a better team. This is why Fitt needs to go.

If any of yall remember school... having a bunch of red marks on your paper usually means you failed

Fitterer, hurney 2.0, and rhule were collosal bumfugs in the draft

And that's not even considering that 2023 draft might be the worst of all time especially if we end up giving Chicago Caleb Williams while Bryce is Medicore at best

Healthy, this team was seven win team at best, that would also include a decent quarterback, which is sitting the bench. With injuries We are most certainly a zero to one win team.

Three turnovers. It was 14-7 and we had the ball.  After the defense made a 4th down stop I believe. Two straight turnovers.  Not two drives, 2 fuging plays and its 28-7 because of our offense. That's after Bryce already gifted them 7.  Keep the defenses name out ya mouth.

    • No, the casual fan gets sucked into THIS^^^ kind of thinking, and it's so woefully incorrect that it's almost sad. The first is what I've said numerous times, NOTHING about non guaranteed contracts save the billionaire owners a single penny, because they still have to spend their cap floor, and the only reason teams ever don't spend the full limit, is to then roll it over into the next season to be able to spend more that year. But in the end, owners pay the same amount of money no matter what. The reverse is also the same, that the players in totality make the same amount of money as well, because in your example of Clowney not getting that money this year, it will go to another player, as the cap needs to be spent. And you say how we just cut Clowney after we gave him the 2 year contract, but everyone including Clowney's agent and himself, knew when it was signed, that it was more likely to be a 1 year contract than a 2 with how it was structured.  The 2nd year was just to be able to spread out the cap hit and he was always most likely going to end up getting traded or cut. It's why agents and players don't care about the total money in a contract, it's always and only been about the guaranteed money, as the years and overall value are meaningless, always have been, always will be.
    • Agents will have their 1st round picks hold out until the pay structure of their contract is to their liking, not how much money they'll get or even how much is guaranteed, just the when/how they will get the money over the course of the contract. If they're willing to recommend those players hold our, do you really think they won't do it for 2nd rounders to guarantee them an extra 10% of their entire rookie contract?
