I'm just posting this for comparison and for discussion, nothing else: 

Bryce: 63.9%, 750 Yards, 5 TD, 4 INT

CJ: 60.2%, 1219, 7/0

AR: 59.5%, 577, 3/1

Kenny: 69%, 771, 2/7

T Law: 58.2%, 873, 5/7

Zach: 56.8% , 925, 4/8

Fields: 50.2%, 448, 1/2

Mac: 71%, 1012, 4/4

Herbert: 69.2%, 1195, 9/3

Tua: 60.2%, 593, 6/0

Joe: 66%, 1121, 6/2

Almost all of those need context. Just looking at numbers Bryces look decent for a rookie. But how many of those tds came late in games when the opposing defense was playing looser to prevent big plays, and how many of those ints came at crucial moments in the game that let the other team run away with them momentum and the game? And it doesn't include his fumbles either 

And ton of his passes are completed near or at the Los. Something more useful would be a breakdown of completion percentages from specific throwing yards ranges

Just glancing at those numbers you might give him a B or something as a quarter season report, but using the eye test he's played like a C or D in critical moments.

Exactly! 

ALL of his numbers here are basically coming in trash time when the game is very much out of hand.

But CJ on the other hand... wow... what a whiff on our part. If the NFL allowed one mulligan per team, now would be the time to use it.

Context for Fields was he received 0 first team reps in camp or preseason. They were planning on bringing him along slowly and then they they started so terribly so threw him out there after Dalton got banged up. 
 

He was never supposed to be the starter year 1. All the other guys on the list got their teams first team reps as far as I can recall.

He had 101 yards and 2 TDs in the 4th quarter yesterday after the Lions went into a shell prevent defense.

He also had a garbage time TD and yardage in the Saints game as well.

Stats never tell the full picture and Bryce's completion percentages (thanks to all the screens) and his yardage/TDs are not indicative of his actual play, but game situation.

He's been AWFUL in the first 3 quarters of games so far, just beyond bad.

One of the funniest things to me is after all the exhausting talk about how small and injury prone Bryce is, that it would be a MIRACLE if he made it through the season, is that 6’5 240 AR is the injury prone guy.

Bryce has taken some crazy shots and been rag dolled around the field and he always just jumps up real quick. He has some real toughness and I’ve always liked that in a player.

You don’t know what awful looks like lmao. Bryce has looked up and down. Awful is not being able to sustain drives, hit your receivers when they’re open, convert third downs. Bryce is doing those things.

Awful is the Jimmy Clausen 2010 offense. If you wanna get some perspective on that, Bryce threw as many touchdowns yesterday as Jimmy did in the entire season.

You can say the lions were in a shell prevent the 4th quarter but they weren’t. You think they were in prevent on the goal line?? They weren’t blitzing but they weren’t in prevent, they were in cover 2/cover 3 most of the second half.

 Anyways, your quarterback analysis is what’s truly awful here. Bryce has been up and down, some bad and some good. He’s a rookie. Get over it.

      Everyone knew the catch was secured and didn't move. That was clear to the entire audience. The only ones who thought it wasn't a catch were in the NYC home office. They knew they'd just offer an apology the next day.

      NEVER FORGET!!!!   Canales was on no one's radar. Tepper couldn't get anyone to come here. He was all in on Ben Johnson. Nobody wants to work with Tepper, however Canales tenure may prove important for the next guy. This guy still has no idea what he's doing.

      The 4th down play was poor execution by Chuba. He didn't want to get physical like Rico and cut North South to lean on his blocks from Tremble and Ekwonu for half a yard. Also, the 3rd down play before that Bryce audibled out to a QB run and almost got the 1st down was on Chuba for not knowing the play call leading to poor execution. You can see Chuba's confusion when Bryce had to realign him. Then Chuba thought he was getting the handoff and was slow to develop his double team on the DE with Tremble. Then Chuba hesitated on pushing the block and just ran to the sideline making Bryce have to loop around him. This pulled the DE away from Tremble forcing Chuba to chip on the DE late and leaving the safety as a free defender. Chuba was suppose to double down on the DE to let Tremble peel off to the safety. This allows Bryce to set up his run to the inside or outside after the safety commits. You can also see Tremble walk over to talk to Chuba after the play and Chuba shrugs which tells me he didn't know what to do. The audible would have worked on 3rd and the dive would have worked on 4th. The plays were good calls and drawn up well. The question is why was Chuba unprepared for those plays in two critical back to back plays? I like Chuba as a 1st down RB and passing downs, but I have always seen him lacking the power and vision to be a short yardage power back. Chuba didn't come prepared for the Saints game or he was thrown into a position at the 3 spot that he was never prepared for.
