Right but you could argue Kraft got lucky with Brady. His handling of the team after brady is not good. Belicheck can only do so much. I also don’t think Tepper will figure it out either. He has made one good decision yet, besides the logo at midfield.

I don't think anyone can guarantee that he will.

The one encouraging thing I can say is that he has at least seen and been able to admit when he's made mistakes.

Whether they're responses he makes to those mistakes might or might not also be a mistakes is another story.

I'm not sure if it's that simple. He went out this time and put together a staff chock full of NFL experience. I don't think these guys just suddenly forgot everything they knew.

So what exactly are you implying? Do you think Tepper is calling the plays in to Bryce? I'm genuinely curious to what extent you think Dave is controlling things.

I swear the owners planted him here to get the panthers out of this market, but a slow burn and not something overnight. Could have had P. Diddy.

Charlotte is one of the biggest and fastest growing markets in the country.... Why would the NFL not want a team here?

Also, here's more from Greer on Dan Patrick's show...

i mean if that's what he's doing...i guess it's his team and he can do what he wants, but that's unhealthy meddling.

but if all he's doing as putting a lot of heat on a coach of an 0-5 team, then he probably should be.

granted, that's probably not all he's doing.

Tepper constantly talks about creating a winning culture. He keeps trying to find the right guys to do that. Seems to me that he has created a culture himself and it ain't a winning one.

No doubt Tepper is at fault, but that doesn’t absolve Frank of his performance. I guess that is where we differ in opinion.

Not absolving Frank and I think he should let his OC do his job, I'm just saying it ultimately all points back to Tepper. When the underlings constantly change and it looks like the same clown show, it might be on the ringmaster.

Understand but the reason why the Panthers continue to lose is because of his meddling. These coaches can’t win because he meddles and then screams at them because they are not winning. .

If you'd have asked me previously, I probably would have said that's all he was doing. But the reports that he might be doing more than that are starting to get louder and more frequent.

I do kind of wonder if the team or Tepper himself will respond to this in any way. My guess is they won't but it'll be interesting if they do.

The only thing I took away from that is maybe we can get ben Johnson this offseason.

 Again

The coaching candidate pool is going to keep getting worse if every coach who comes to the Panthers sucks ass. Panthers are the new Browns

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
