Rank them.
Fox > Ron > Capors > Wilks > Rhule > Seifort > Frank

never thought it’s would be this bad. I think it’s gonna get worse.

Seifert was better than Rhule overall, even though that went down in spectacular flamees, and I'd argue was better than Wilks as well given how solid those 1998 and 1999 offenses were. Seifert's downfall was his personnel control, which is separate than his coaching ability IMO.

Rhule is still the worst IMO. Brass Balls big first swing, kills the culture entirely, destroys the fanbase and fan favorites in the process. Plus, the shitty results and potential he was making personnel and GM calls.

Frank is just an old man and meh at best coach who walked into a bad situation with zero desire to fix it after he saw behind the curtain.

Frank should've been the figurehead and adult in the room...and then let the "All-Star" staff coach. He was the final nail in the coffin, but Rhule dug the grave.

Seifert had an eye for talent, gotta give him that. 2001 draft was fire and key to the 2003 Super Bowl run

I have a hard time calling the unfortunate guy who happened to rudder the worst team we've ever assembled our worst coach. To me, the worst coach is someone who squandered a talented roster or missed a window of opportunity. This team, this year had no chance of being successful, and failing to live up to even the low standards we should have expected is still hardly the most egregious crime. Frank will be out least memorable coach, but on the grading scale, I'm forced to give him an "I" for Incomplete.

    • Through 2 games cltfc has 12 shot attempts. Opponents 23 shots on target. Attack sucks, Defense definitely sucks. Kahlina is the only reason they haven't given up 14 goals in two games.
    • I met a few times--never liked him. I figured he might have had a bad day--but then realized that he must have a lot of bad days. Once he raised his voice at my son because my son did not understand a question when SS was signing his jersey.  I wanted the jersey to represent his encounter with a Panther great, not some small man with a bad attitude.  I told me son, "Forget it.  He was asking you what your name is (My son was about 7 and told me that he thought Smitty was going to write (my son's) name on the jersey.  He said "Dad, I thought he was supposed to write HIS name on the jersey, not mine."  I said, "He was personalizing it, writing it to you--like a birthday card."  He is now grown, and he has a steve smith Jersey that is framed and matted.  He keeps it is his closet.  I asked him, "Why not have that out on your wall?"  He said, "All I remember is an A-hole scribbled on my shirt.  I don't remember a legend or hero.  But he had a Jake Delhomme Jersey on his wall.  "Jake was great.  I will always remember that."  (Jake stayed and talked to us for about 5 minutes or more--GREAT guy.)
    • Is it possible for someone to regress in maturity as they age or has Steve really just been a jerk his entire life?
