Should be an easy bar to reach, the language is gonna be something though.  Has to have security THROUGH 3 years atleast.  I say 4-5 year deal, with year 4 in mind for an extension.  Just pay him 15-17.5M per and be done with it.  Still won't guarantee he comes here but 15M is gonna be steep for other ownership groups to be willing to shell out for a new HC.  Our owner is brazzen enough to do it without thinking twice, for better or for worse.

3 years guaranteed contract, re-up after 2 if things are looking good. It would still be less than you paid the moron Rhule and Frankie.

when Dipper pays that kinda of money..hes gonna want a superbowl run with this talent depleted team.. LOL...thats his dysfunction.... we need a good coach, see progress, continuity and stability and build for the future which is 3 years out...if he does everything right from this point on.... hes a stock trader and nfl teams don't react like that....i don't think he will be patient enough....but he absolutely needs to get rid of fitterererer whos been lying to his azz since hes been here... Homer Simpson needs to have a comming to Jesus meeting with himself....

Everyone knows he’s so f*cking desperate for Ben’s Johnson that Ben’s people are saying 15mil so he can settle for $13mil from the Chargers haha

Why when they can more than likely get Jim for less or similar on a longer contract. Jim gonna have that Michigan deal to leverage as well.

    • We should have drafted Isaiah Bond instead of Jimmy.
    • I don't want to give the appearance that I and the Nostrah Dumbass of this board because I miss a lot when trying to analyze talent, but I was all over Coker before the draft.  I wanted the Panthers to take him on day 3.  When he did not get drafted, I started banging the drum for him.  Apparently, they agreed.  (All Hail, MHS!! All Hail).  I also thought we should have drafted a DT over Cam Newton and give Clausen another year to develop.  (Boo, MHS!!!, Boo to you!!!)  All that to humble myself.   Coker is not blazing fast, but he runs good routes and has perhaps the best hands in the NFL.  I am tired of drops.  He is of high character---a guy you can support--unlike some of these other WR divas in the NFL.   Lock him up long term-I am guessing a deal in the $10m range (after yesterday) would not be out of the question.  He had around 400 yards this season, so let's keep yesterday as a good game and not a coming-out. We need a consistent deep threat, imo, an explosive WR with good hands.  Imagine that.  XL? Maybe its back to road kill and Dolla Bill.  Maybe this league was not meant for you.  Nothing wrong with giving it a shot, making some bank, and returning to your home.  Morgan?  Your worst move so far.  Learn from these "one hit wonders."
