What coach(s) would actually make you happy with the hire

This next coaching hire doesn't matter.  He'll be here a season and a half, tied to Bryce.  When BY is a clear failure they'll ditch this coach and draft a QB again.

Sorry.  I wish I could see it differently, but I don't.

1 and done again if it's still 'all in on Bryce' and not 'hope we can turn Bryce around'. One is going to be another #1 pick with more of the same and the other is going to be Payton in Denver getting what they really want after 1 year of laying their foundation and biding their time.

Three coaches have already been fired due to BY. When Frank was fired there were rumors that several coaches wanted to bench BY and play Dalton. I think we know which coaches wanted to do that…..

As long as Tepper continues to influence and meddle football decisions the Panthers will continue to be a doormat.

Lol, you think Tepper is going to have dudes tell him how to run this organization?  I mean, he SHOULD, but billionaires don't tend follow the directives of other people unless it's within their own circle.

If the organization was smart, they would have a mole to get to Nicole ear and thereby Dave's.  Nicole is about the only person I think that can persuade/dissuade his stubborn arse.  So getting David to change his ways isn't the objective, but a confidant with some real NFL knowledge that can get Nicole's ear regularly to pass along to her hubby.

No, I don't believe Tepper is going to change his MO, but we can all dream a little dream.

I mean, maybe, just maybe….Goff just isn’t a bad QB.  He was a multi pro bowl QB that went to the SB.  People claimed that was just McVay being McVay.  Now he is a pro bowl QB again….and everyone claims it’s Ben Johnson.

You could be right, my only thing is, I can’t see McVay parting with him if he was the guy.

My Top-3:

Ben Johnson

Dave Canales

Mike MacDonald

Who I'd be fine with:

Shane Waldron

Ben Slowick (seems a bit inexperienced but am open to it given HOU's year)

Frank Smith (again, a bit unsure given his resume but open)

Jim Harbaugh (why not if him and Tepper end up figuring it out haha)

As a PSL owner from day 1 I have been a passionate fan for the entire time until midway through the 1st Tepper year. That's all it took for me to realize this was going to become the absolute poo show it has become. End of the season I sold my PSL's and after 27 years I was done. The following attributes are not consistent with an NFL owner that can possibly be successful. Controlling, self centered megalomaniac that doesn't play well with others that thinks BECAUSE he can make money in the stock market, he can run a sports franchise. Major difference is the stock market doesn't require human interaction but dealing with a sports franchise does.

So to all the PSL OWNERS/FANS, my wish for you is nothing but the best and a new franchise owner in the very near future.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
