On a hunch or hearing from sources??

I believe all he said was best guess, so he’s probably taking what he is hearing from sources. Now, he whiffed big time on Watson and Sean Payton so who the heck knows lol.

how he worded it: he listed all the teams with vacancies and for us put: Belicheck?? Or Monken

I know some don’t like Albright, but he keeps listing Monken as a guy he thinks will be here.

I remember him mischaracterizing something to do with Wilks, out of ignorance. He hadn’t bothered to get the facts. Yeah he lost points with me.

I can make up poo too: hey my source says what they are doing is getting a guy who'll promise to make Bryce Young into a winner by designing the Prius Offense that is gonna dominate the NFCS next year (Prius: limited range, small, boring to drive, hey .... )

Apparently the lesson in Philly is that getting the team to a Super Bowl starts you down the path to being fired 🤔

Lurie is getting more involved huh. Tepper has a lot to learn, but even one of the best owners in the league start getting more hands on when the results aren’t meeting expectations… just saying that Tepper is far from the only one.

A LOT of owners are heavily involved. They are just not loud about it. I’ve heard enough retired scouts and coaches say this over the years to believe it’s more the norm than we think.

Lurie has always been very involved. He famously had weekly Monday morning meetings with Pederson during their Super Bowl winning year where Lurie would make suggestions and criticize Pederson for in game decisions.

For some reason people think it is unique to Tepper

    • You bring up a good point on the stability part and i would agree that probably will factor into it. But yes, Tepper does have a strong influence on who stays/goes but I still believe ultimately it'is Morgan, Tilis and Canales who will decide.
    • I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.
    • holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!
