Nah at the least you take the interview if you’re Johnson so you can take the $ offer to another team

Tepper already leaked that $15M a year story to get the poorer owners like Spanos and Davis out of the Johnson race.

This may have been mention already. We are going  to hire people who are going  to have to accept that their resume has possible 25 or more loses over the next two years. Tough selliig pint for your future.

I know nothing about the likelihood of the GM candidates working out, but if I was going to back anyone it would be Alec Halaby.  Philadelphia has routinely been one of the most talented teams in the NFL and one of the best at wheeling and dealing.  I'd bet he's learned a thing or two there.

Yeah I like Halaby, Dodds, and Kelly. Tills is okay. The rest can kick rocks.

It's impossible to know what role behind the scenes each of these GM candidates have within their organizations.    Sure, you may know their job title and their initial backgrounds but it's hard to have any well informed option on how they impact their current team.

I think we have a pretty good list with a variety of thought processes.

Only name I wanted was Peters but it seems that they aren't wasting their time with him, he seems to be a lock to Washington (from media rumors).

But hey, we all wanted Fitterer gone and we got our wish.  We can have hope until proven otherwise that the new GM will be better.

Solid points and it’s why I’m a bit less invested this time around in the GM search. Sure we can string together a work history, assume who’s on their Rolodex, find some articles and watch interviews but there’s so many layers to it..difficult to form a well-informed opinion as a fan/outside looking in.

It's tough because everybody is just clamoring for a sign of hope.

I'm excited because why not.  It appears that the search firm is doing their thing and Tepper has learned some.

And until we hear news about candidates rejecting us , it appears that everybody's worse case scenario is not coming true.

the thing about the search firm is...who is putting in the parameters for what we're looking for at HC and GM?

Does tepper still have in his head what he wants and sticking to his guns or does he have someone advising him on what he should be looking for?

That's another thing we won't know.

But can at least be thankful one is involved at all.  From the outside, it at least appears to be the correct step to fixing our process.

From what is rumored it seems Dave is listening to too many people. He's collecting data like Google and doing what with it is yet to reveal itself.  The only thing we can do is sit back and see what old mastermind comes up with.
