Harbaugh. Not sure why you'd do a poll eliminating options by guessing where they are going. Until Harbaugh has been hired elsewhere or we've hired someone, he is an option.

I don't think we're going to end up with any of your poll options as HC lol

That'd be a pretty boring poll. It'd be mostly people voting for Ben Johnson.

Todd Monken or Mike Macdonald (my #2 overall behind Ben Johnson)

I'm just not a fan of these other options.  Ben Johnson is my #1 but I don't see that happening.

Monken is older, which hurts him, but he's got great experience in the pro and college game.  That should help with his ability to develop players because he's familiar with different styles and ways of getting guys involved.  Even in Tampa, he did a great job (I won't blame him for Jameis being a turnover-machine).  And he's worked under two great leaders in Harbaugh and Smart.

Macdonald I feel could be a culture-setter, and like Monken, has worked under great leaders.  And I just get a vibe that his teams will be tough.  I mean just look at him.

I don't want to hire an offensive coach for the sake of saying we have one.  Callahan and Canales would be blah hires.  I wouldn't hate Frank Smith... but I wouldn't feel good about it working out.  Feels like you'd be taking a huge gamble that he isn't just riding Mike McDaniels' coattails.

And please no retreads

I thought Monken was in his mid 60's when I looked at him. surprised to find out the guy is only 57

I dont have one, weird. Wellllll maybe.....if forced answers below.

I cannot figure who would be the best at building a new expansion type team.

Ive also cooled on vrabel some too.

Plus I dont follow the NFL like past years, some of these names are totally new to me. For example my first time seeing both ravens coordinators.

Frank smith is the one Id pick mainly cause he was a big part at rebuilding a team with a struggling high QB draft pick. Unfair to name him, given my lack of knowledge on the others. But right now thats my pick- Frank Smith.

    • and yet nothing will happen afterwards as usual. we'll get an secret "apology" from the NFL office a few days later but nothing will change. you know its bad when even Bucs fans were calling it rigged.
    • Progress? Some. Proud? Not at all. I hate anything mediocre at anything and this fan base has been too accepting of being mediocre.  It's sad AF.   DC should be fired and honestly he's one of the worst gameday managers I've ever seen in all my time being around football. How dudes like him even get a HC job boggles my mind and really drives me truly believing in white privilege being blatant sometimes.  No other logical reason for DC to be a coach in the NFL, he's terrible at it.   Say what you will about Belichick but that fuger was one of the best at gameday managing, gametime adjustments and finding mismatches.  I have never seen that from this coaching staff or Tepper teams.  Those things single handedly win you games other than the players executing properly, which is also the HC job! If people are proud of this team than I would hate to think what other things in life your willing to accept.....
    • I think your giving DM too much credit tbh.  Our owner has no idea wtf hes doing. He may be smart af when it comes to being an investor/raider but as an NFL owner hes dog poo. Like really bad at it. DC probably was the only coach that would have even wanted to coach here after meeting Tepper.  I have never met him personally but he seems like a dick, figuratively and literally. I have zero faith in him ever bringing Carolina Panthers a Superbowl.......ever
