Bruh, he wasn't a FA. He was franchise tagged. Teams realized they would've been doing nothing but negotiating the terms for the Ravens since all the Ravens would've had to have done was simply take any offer Lamar singed and said, "Yep, we'll do that." and ink the deal. Just stop.

No contract offer was even made. You can't say this as a fact. We will never know if he was truly available or not because all the owners came together and said know.

 

Lamar ended up not getting the fully guaranteed Watson contract so of course the Ravens won as that did not happen as the owners wanted.

The Chiefs very well might win. But Kelce is 34 years old and he's starting to look like a shadow of what he once was. Father Time is a cruel bastard.

      I'm not worked up about this but I had a little beef with his reporting or whatever it is, and can’t remember specifically what it was. A year or so ago maybe. It was something about Wilks or maybe Reich, but I thought the way he presented it was pretty slanted and I disagreed with the facts as he presented them, more or less. I believe it was an audio spot with FNZ. I took note that this guy was maybe all about some kind of agenda to be distorting the reality to make a story more appealing.
