Seeing these dudes next to normal sized humans really drives home how fuging huge NFL players are

I played against a former NFL player in highschool. Dude was pretty big even back then he went to NC State and was on his way to being the best LB in the nation. Got in a serious car accident and changed his career. He still made the league, but dude could have been the best LB in the league had he never got in that car accident.

Nate Irving Google him dude was a beast!

I’m a pretty big guy relative to average people (6’1, ~190, lean) but when I’ve been around NBA/NFL players I literally feel like a child lol. LeBron and Wilfork are 2 examples who just don’t seem like they’re actual human beings they’re so freakishly large.

Credit to Brock Purdy from going from the last draft pick to driving the 49ers into the Super Bowl

Best example of how a SB QB can come from anywhere in the draft we'll ever see

Still have hopes for Bryce at #1.

And totally forgot Jake Delhomme was undrafted and played a SB.

So we have that

    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
