Probably one of the best backups in the League is off the market.  This also signifies that the Raiders may keep Jimmy G.  At least for this season.  I don't think the Raiders would have signed Minshew if Fields was in the equation.

Just wait; have patience. if we miss out on a RB in the draft, then sign one.  By that time any of those dude's still sitting on their couch will be willing to listen to whatever low-ball offer we throw their way.

We really do. When you have a QB who struggles to throw more than 10-15 yards down the field a receiving back is a key weapon. The irony is that we had the best one in the league before we got fleeced and gave him away and then turned those already meager assets into practically nothing.
