I think it should be Troy Franklin, by all accounts a Dionte Johnson clone, and who better to mentor him that Diontae himself.

I see the reason we would do that--then we'd be scary next year even if Thielen and Johnson leave.  I see why we'd draft Van Pran, the C from Georgia when it is possible that Corbett can't cut it and his contract expires in 2025.  I see why we'd draft Sanders (TE Texas).  I see why we would draft a CB--our biggest need right now--

As for your Franklin argument,  he has the potential to become a WR 1.  A FOURTH ROUND selection.

TE: Ja' Tavion Sanders, Johnny Wilson

DL: Mo Kamara, Edefuan Ulofoshio

WR: Brandon Rice, Javon Baker, Malik Washington

😄 Van Pran

I know you did not just disrespect Van Pran  ( C and : does that--I hate it.) I have also wanted to move Wilson to TE--and that could be an option in round 5.  I think we need to take Frankin (WR--to make that room scary and to prepare for a Johnson and Thielen exodus next year), Van Pran Granger (The center who would take over at the latest next year), or  a CB like Tampa.

I like the Kamara pick.  He is a second round talent.

Considering all this Sed Vann prann seems like the easy pick but we will do something else.

I don’t get the urgency to invest in center after signing $150M worth of guards with Corbett still around. Lots of centers convert from other positions. Why would everyone have been cool with it if, say, Barton converted coming out of college, but it’s a problem now that Corbett’s doing it in the NFL?

I want Troy Franklin, Van Pran, or Austin Booker at 101. Maybe target a Theo Johnson at TE in the 5th. My gut tells me they draft Austin Booker at 101 and take Brenden Rice in the 5th.

4th- WR Troy Franklin, WR Tez Walker, C Ced Van Pran, any of top remaining CBs (James, Tampa, Carson)

After that, players I’d like to see as Panthers:

TE Jared Wiley

TE Jaheim Bell

WR Johnny Wilson

WR Malik Washington

WR Jacob Cowing

C Beaux Limmer

LB James Willams (put him in Luvu’s role and let him wreak havoc)

I wouldn't say it's an issue with talent because I personally think Corbett is gonna do great at center but having him has our only center on the roster after coming off 2 knee injuries in back-to-back years and being on the last year of his deal is worrisome. We are another Corbett injury away from starting Cade Mayes again. Hopefully they let Brady Christensen get some practice at center too even though I think his future is still the eventual Taylor Moton replacement on the right side.

My concern is injury. I don't doubt he can be at least serviceable.

Corbett is the only viable option on the roster  and coming off 2 knee injuries. I don't believe you can ever rest on your laurels when it comes to OL.

I don't think anyone would be cool with assuming  the Duke guard can be a starting C from the get go.

I view BC as viable at any OL position. Hopefully he’s our backup C if we don’t draft one.

Maybe but he's crucial as a backup guard and tackle.

Jacob Cowing in the 5th or 6th

He's going to be a longtime successful slot WR in this league, I'm quite convinced of that.

Have him back up Thielen this year to learn and then take over as the starting slot WR next year, he'd be Bryce's safety valve with his crisp route running and sure hands.

He's also the 5th fastest player in the draft.  I wonder how he would do as a kick returner.
