I think ISM has a 51% chance this year as well, he finished strong and KOs could help him stay as well.

I do feel WR will be featured more, but they also said "WE are going to run the ball".

Carolina Panthers Undrafted Free Agents

  • QB – Jack Plummer, Louisville
  • WR – Sam Pinckney, Coastal Carolina
  • WR – Jalen Coker, Holy Cross
  • WR – Devin Carter, West Virginia
  • TE – Kevin Foelsh, New Haven
  • OL – Jeremiah Crawford, Tennessee
  • OL – Andrew Raym, Oklahoma
  • DE – Taylor Upshaw, Arizona
  • DT – Popo Aumavae, Oregon
  • LB – Derrick McLendon, Colorado
  • LB – Leo Lowin, Army
  • CB – Willie Drew, Virginia State
  • CB – DeShawn Gaddie, Ole Miss
  • S – Demani Richardson, Texas A&M
  • K – Harrison Mevis, Missouri

I don't think ISM has done enough to keep him safe at all. He will have to compete just like the other guys trying to make the roster. He's easily expendable if an upgrade presents itself. Especially with Legette being able to do returns.

RB is debatable. Sanders is terrible and Chuba isn't what I would consider "good."

We just drafted the top RB prospect in this year's class who is a 3 down back and coming off an ACL tear in November.

We just need two JAG's this year to have a 3 back rotation for the year while Brooks gets up to 100% by 2025 when he takes over as a bell cow back.

Given Sanders' cap hit, Chuba being at least average, and even someone like Blackshear in the wings, we're set at RB for this year now.

Mevis  on this list is interesting. He nailed a 63 yard FG to win a game this past year. He's got a big leg.

Considering the depth chart, these two Undrafted Free Agents have a legitimate chance of making the roster.  I don't see much else, but some may make the practice squad. The competition for Coker is TMJ and Smith Marsette--two of the three should make the roster (if things were decided today).  At CB, Drew's competition for the final CB roster spot is weak , full of inexperienced Journeymen (Jamison gave up 80% completion rate in limited action with 47 PFF score; AJ Parker, 26, had 2 passes thrown to him and both were completed in limited action)  Having placed my reputation on the line (not much of a reputation or line), I will share my updated depth chart, at no extra charge (I realize this is premature--it is to show how they could make the roster):

    • Brooks can certainly be a three down back but Stewart did look like this coming out of Oregon.
