I mean, guys...no starters. What did you really expect? We already know that we have a depth problem.

That being said, I think Chaisson, Leota & Lamar Jackson have shown a little promise. The run defense actually looked decent.

Mingo & TMJ had a drop, but that happens in wet conditions. It's not like we have learned a lot tonight, because we already knew...

Just curious, what in this game gives you that feeling?

Tbh I'm not writing him off. I'm on record saying I will give him a fair shot to prove himself.

But the scoreboard and his lack of emotion on the sidelines just brought back memories of Frank last season. I knew in preseason Frank was a bad hire. I stood on that long before anyone else. I was right.

Canales has plenty of time to prove himself. Just not a good start so far.

Missed most of the second quarter due to a false alarm @ work, but it looks like I haven't missed much after looking at the box score. 😮

Hope it doesn't take NFL+ too long to have the game accessible. Immediately after it finishes airing would be clutch.

ok am I the only one that hates this white panthers cap?  looks like it was accidentally bleached

I shame my masculinity making fashion comments, but if the hat were blue and the logo white I’d probably like it.

Hard with the panther being black.

We could claim it’s an albino Panther.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
