stop the cap.

Jordan wasn't here last year.  And by all accounts, Bryce is having a worse camp than last year.

but Jordan is smart and a pro.  Probably why they randomly have him up at the presser.  He ain't dumb.

Picking top 5 does the Panthers no good.  The Panthers had a top 5 pick last year.....and they picked Young.

Well, if we can’t use the draft I guess we could pick up a new QB from the local high school.

@Icege has been doing yeoman's work and deserves pie and praise for it

The defense isn't as good as most thing. I mean beating up on the Pats' and Panthers' offensives is something JUCO schools could do.

Evero will get at least some HC interviews this upcoming cycle.

Thankfully, college football is coming soon.

This will be another long, miserable Panthers' season. Two-three wins is all they'll get, if they're lucky.

@Icege has been doing an amazing job of writing up the press conferences

He was here last year.  And I'm not sure why you think it's impossible for a young player to grow (*insert Bryce Young short joke*) even within a single offseason from minicamp -> OTAs -> training camp.  Like that's the whole point of the offseason?

JMatt was with the team last season and was credited with his veteran presence then.

At this point the folks that hate Bryce are twisting themselves into knots to keep being miserable and it's super goofy.

Thankfully, we still have a couple of mods that aren't encouraging a toxic environment.

Canales didn't draft Young.  Canales doesn't have to go out there and poo the bed until he had to.

I think our O potentially could be worse than last year.  In terms of the actual pass aspect.   I don't think Bryce is good and I don't think he pairs with Canales.  I've said that for months.

But it doesn't benefit either to protect Young. You put him out there in his offense and let the chips fall where they may. Canales is responsible the offense. If Young cannot run it then the sooner he let's the whole world know the easier it will go for him. Now if he cannot build an offense that can win regardless of whose behind center then that is his burden to bare.

    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
