Hej, hallo, nice to reconvene. 

  • It's going down. We are done.  We are meaningless. 
  • Canales will show promise as a coach but we'll be like 5-12. 
  • Our QB is not, and will not be a viable NFL QB - this season will be the second and last we get from the strawberry.   The scruffy ginger man wins us at least two of those games.  
  • Evero gets the D together.  Trevin Wallace will surprise, the defense will perform well with Brown/Robinson/Clowney/Jewell
  • Jonathan Brooks and Sanders will both come along by midseason and be a reason we land some promising wins and look aight on offense 

That's all I've got.  See, even my humor is lost.  We are lost.  Lost wandering souls in the forest of football doom.

Doom.

Gloom. 

Misery.

Suffering.

You will not enjoy watching this team. 

Do not draft anyone but Johnson in your redraft fantasy leagues.

Just now I was watching that fluky 88 yard touchdown from St Pierre to Gettis against Baltimore in the 2010 game. Honestly can't remember the last time a play that exciting has happened here. I guess maybe the Cam return but I think we all knew deep inside that it wasn't going to last. That it was just a fleeting feeling. But that TD... the crowd sounded so lively compared to it's (rightfully) nonexistent state today. It was a hell of a play. 

Then something dawned on me. Good god. I'm feeling nostalgic for 2010. When that realization hit... all I could think to myself was "damn."

He's had a beard since day 1 in Carolina and at least since at least 2021 with the Bears.

I predict 2024 is going to feel very similar to 2023 but only the coach doesn't get fired. 

- tons of debate and threads on the HC needing to give up playcalling.  Predictable.  All that jazz

- talk, by some, of Bryce not being protected good enough (many will argue he is bringing that upon himself in large part)

- continued talk about defenses sitting on the pass game and us not being able to threaten downfield

- D looks okay and might be if paired w/ a decent O 

2-5 wins pending how luck goes

      Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.

      Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
