Bryce Young benched

I wouldn't be surprised if Tepper is actually ok with this - he probably wants to see if it's truly Young that is a lost cause, or if the investment made into the offensive side of the ball this season was a waste of $ (and whether or not his handpicked QB guru coach actually knows what he's doing).

He can’t play at this level. It’s like beating a dead horse but he’s really limited physically & that alone prevents him from being an NFL caliber QB. He can’t see the field. He has no arm strength. No accuracy.

and Stroud looks like he’s the best QB in the league right now. It’s really sickening as a panther fan

Just now, Jon Snow said:

It still won't matter. But at least Andy will let it loose out there.

yeah we're not winning a lot of games this season, but yesterday was definitely winnable. I mean what the chargers put out there yesterday was beatable with a better qb, but obviously the they'd probably play different if we had a functioning offense

still, at least now the offense will operate on a functional level

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
