The Carolina Panthers should go back to Bryce Young

And if anything it reduces the offseason trade value.

That my main issue. I still have hopes for someone stupid enough to give us a low round draft pick and then can hope somehow that draft pick is absolutely lucked out and hit on to which that player turns into a hall of famer. Yeah I know, but I can dream I guess.....Still though, I cant even have a chance to dream like that if we play Bryce now and he does what you and I both know he will do and completely take more explosive soupy poos on the field each week.

Just now, Donald LaFell said:

I’ve never seen a guy look this incapable. He could very well be a very smart QB but his physical tools are lacking and I think he’s lost his nerve. He can’t throw down the field or over the middle.

Playing him is throwing the team under the bus.

I agree. He doesnt have it in his mind and never seen a player more rattled in my life. He is completely done and is actually a danger to himself and others being out there. Im serious, he could easily get seriously hurt playing that scared on the field. When they play scared they play tight and tense up more when hit which could very well set the stage for a serious injury or cause him to throw hospital balls to our WR's and TE's. Its just bad for everyone if Bryce played again with what appears to be a completely destroyed self esteem out there.

If they put micro-machine back in I’m out.  Won’t watch another game til he’s gone.

This 10000% I’m fuging over it. People wanting to see Bryce got the memory of a squirrel, which ain’t much.

I will never watch another panthers game with Bryce Young starting. He’s that bad

People assume playing him makes this better. It does not.

Bryce is nothing but a media push at this point. It's not even bout how good or if he belongs out there. Hell, the media pushed us to draft him. The ones talking the most haven't even bothered to watch him closely last year or this year. Part of me wants to play him again so he can look overwhelmed once again in front of more eyes watching this time so they can see themselves clearly. The other half doesn't want to play him and trade him to another team so he can be their problem to fix....that is the best business decision for the team.

That would be a disaster. If he sucks again, then what, bench him again? There goes all trade value.

If he plays and looks bad again the team will be dragged even deeper in mud than they already are. Bryce can't do any wrong in the media/people outside the teams eyes. If he plays and looks bad again,  it will be the organizations fault and more bad PR. Thats why he shouldn't play any more for us. If he plays again it should be for another team with new coaches and new teammates. Bryce young stinking up even more does nothing to Bryce and digs a even deeper hole for the Panthers especially Canales.... because now he is faced with the decision to bench him again which he will be dragged for he does and if he doesnt he risks losing locker room because they know Bryce is capable. I'm pretty sure that's not a situation he is interested in.

I hope they don't play him. The team is likely to lose out the rest of the season, but it seems the fan base and locker room would rather ride that streak out with Dalton instead of Young. It's better for both parties (Young and the Panthers) that he not play so that the "what if" question stays as big as possible.

The irony is that if Dalton steers the team to 1-16, that will only strengthen the "they didn't put enough around him" sentiment for Young, which will enhance his trade value.

Bryce is f*cking terrible. He can’t see his receivers. Comes in for one late garbage time drive against Washington, you’d think he’d be like hey let me air one out and see what happens. Nope, throws his first read check down. He’s done. In the NFL. He will never be a good player.

Chris Donnelly is right. We're all right, and we're all wrong. There is no right answer. That's just where we are; we're a throw poo up against the wall and see if it sticks kinda franchise. We're a week to week team on the injury report (if not year to year, if that's even possible). We go year to year hoping that we can really play.

It's right not to start Young. It's right to try and trade him for a 7th 3 years out.

This guy is absolutely wrong on his take. Dalton might be bad but young is historical bad.

Your right this guy is throwing poo. His entire take is just throwing poo even if it's in his own face.

There is absolutely no advantage to starting Young and more than a few disadvantages.

A seventh round pick is kind of a joke. Honestly, a day three pick is a joke. The Bryce Young experience is out of the bag. I've heard some analysts (particularly a couple in Cleveland) balk at the idea. We've lost on that deal any way that you slice it. If he's worse than Dalton, as you say, then we should ensure ourselves the number one pick by letting him play. That's more important than some day three dart throw.

On an off note, Dalton had the lowest QBR this season this past Sunday, so...

Honestly, I can see your point, but there is always another side. I don't think either way is going to move the needle enough to do anything...but maybe secure that number one pick, which we're on the way to doing anyway.

If we can secure that pick, it will open up options (as well as new discussions).

Cutting him is perfectly fine too but gwtting anyone to take him is better at any price. He is unplayable. If Dalton looks that bad then Young will look worse. He literally won't throw past the LOS unless the D is playing prevent. It worked for a few plays 2? Weeks ago and didn't on Sunday after they had that many plays of film on what to expect. It's a bad take. He isn't Baker or Darnold. He is worse than Russell.

They already secured a top 3 pick. That doesn't matter. It's a lock given the state of the team and coaching.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
