Positive signs from Bryce

The best part of that opening td drive was Bryce’s scramble drill where he missed the guy at the back of the endzone. It doesn’t matter because he got XL right after that, but someone (I think sanders) was COMPLETELY uncovered slightly to his right just walking across the goal line. Like a pass that zod could complete

but it was slightly to the right of his vision so Bryce probably couldn’t see him.

You can say whatever you want. The facts are facts. He got the same amount of quarters against a Broncos defense that every other QB did this year and did what no other QB has done at this point while working with less. That is a fact. Gotta give some credit to him for that regardless how you feel about his prospects going forward. If not it’s just hate.

10/12 for 58 yards in the first half before Denver called off the dogs and shut it down on defense. Nothing more to be said.

The bar for BY is lower than llimbo bar in hell. If you include he was missing the top 2 WRs, starting C, against a top 5 D and on the road..... It was one of his best games to date, even with the garbage time fluff.

75% of his yards came after we were down 28-7. He gets no credit for garbage time yards.

Ok you can rationale your hate anyway you want. He’s not playing defense. It’s not his fault it was garbage time. He still had one of the best offensive outputs against that defense this season period. But hate on my guy.

I’m not saying it changes a damn thing, but not to acknowledge it is just hate.

Ok that sounds similar to an Andy Dalton performance earlier this year with a lot more help. You can hate all day long. Facts are facts. Hater.

    • Playing around with mock draft simulator this is probably my favorite one yet All the Super tantalizing potentials were off the board at 19. Proctor was there but I really question if he can hold up at OT in the NFL at his size. I think speed rushers might put him in a blender. I was definitely willing to move down to pickup mire capital. There's an obvious focus on the trenches in this draft. If you can own the LOS you can win a lot of games. Hell, the Seahawks just won a SB doing just that. Iheanachor oozes potential. He has all the physical tools to end up being the beat OT in this class but he's pretty raw having not been playing football long. Well worth it with the first pick in the 2nd. Christen Miller is listed as a DT here but he'd play DE in our defense. Not a lot of people are talking about it focusing on LB instead but our DEs suck too. Lawson should be a day one starter at MLB. His NFL ceiling might be more good than great but that's fine. He's smart, he's capable, and he was the QB in that Bama defense. That's what we need. If you want to runaway 3-4 defense, you need a dog at NT. We don't have one. Orange can be that. He's not gonna pile up stats on his own but that's not the point of a NT. The point of a NT is to make everyone else's job easier.  Slaughter is a potential starting center. Maybe not as a rookie but he could potentially be the long-term answer. I'm never going to give up on my dream of the Panthers having a true sideline to sideline ball hawking FS. Safety wasn't high on my list but Bud Clark was too tempting to pass up. At the very least he's a guy who should earn a role on 3rd and long obvious passing down type situations.  Kevin Coleman is exactly the type of slot WR type we need working the underneath and muddle with T-Mac and Coker on the outside.  TJ Hall is just a dog and he's experienced playing outside and at nickel. He can cover and he's not afraid to step up against the run. He should be able to earn a roster spot as he hopefully develops as an NFL player. Nwaiwu is another development type pick with the advantage of having experience playing both LG and RG in college. At this point in the draft you're likely looking at guys projected as career backups and the more versatile you are as a backup the more roster value you have. I packaged two late rounders together to move io to secure Allar who has all the physical tools you want in a QB and has largely been forgotten since he missed a lot of games down the stretch this year. If he didn't he'd likely be a mid-round pick. He might still end up being a mid-round pick. If I could get him as a developmental guy in the 6th I'm doing that all day.
    • Honestly thought Ickey was fairlt average. That's just based on the eye test. I haven't seen any grades or anything to base that on. Usually when the QB was pressured, it seemed like it was coming from the LT or RG.
    • Its actually easier than the one we played this season of you compared 2025 win pct.of opponents.
