With how big brained our front office looked with the Johnson trade, I am surprised they didn't trade Horn, Chuba, and a 2025 5th round pick to the Chiefs for a 2030 7th round draft pick

Agreed. I said we should have given Horn a long-term contract before this year in hopes he could stay healthy and it could be a pretty cheap long-term deal.

Now I think he gets paid pretty well and probably no point in resigning him for that price with how awful we are. And might as well trade Chuba - by the time we "might" be good again, he will be in his 30s

They have Horn on his 5th year option for '25.
