Jets, Dolphins and Patriots will be a round robin of AFC East misery. Dolphins probably the best out of that bunch and should gain some distance from the pack.

Browns may actually win a game here or there now that Watson is done again.

Raiders will unexpectedly win a couple more games.

Giants will beat us head to head.

Titans and Jags are both terrible. Either of these teams, and the AFC East loser of that bunch, are capable of stealing our #1 pick away.

Jags won't steal the #1 pick from us. The Patriots winning was huge for us getting the #1 pick.

Only teams we need to worry about are the Titans and Patriots. If we don't win any more games, that will solve that problem

What if I told you our schedule gets infinitely harder past week 9?

You think they are doing this on purpose? This team is 3 day old swamp ass. They couldn't win a game if the opponent spotted them 2 touchdowns.

2?  lol, I wouldn’t bet a ham sandwich on Carolina +2 TDs.

Lay 24 in front of me and I’d think about throwing in a bag of chips to go with the sandwich.

Giants are averaging 16 points a game.  I get the game is in Germany adding some weird factors but if that game isnt at least close this season could get real weird.   Players saying nope, asst coaches getting canned, front office getting canned etc.   We literally cannot be the worst nfl team of all time in DC and dans first year.   Tepper would be fit to be tied.  And honestly I am kindof here for it

Yeah, I mean this is the worst thing to happen to Germany since.....well...listen...I mean....it's as bad as.....well....so have you guys watched any baseball playoffs or whatever??

How there can be this many terrible teams in a league with 60 years of experience in building a model of parity is frankly quite amazing.

The majority (not all) of the teams on that list have taken recent swings at QB and failed miserably. That position is obviously of high importance as we all know.

They are no longer tanking....................

They are a submarine....run silent run deep........take a couple depth charge hits every week......... and then run right into a mine by the end of the season.

Wash rinse and repeat with Big Brain at the helm in that cinema classic ..........Blue Balls October. image.thumb.png.713177595b4214e05bc820be825d70fd.png

To officially be "tanking" would mean that you could win a couple if you really tried. I'm not sure we can win any of them, no matter how hard we try.

There's tankers and there's suckers. One is a temporary thing, the other is a long-term deal. We're on what? Season 7 of "tanking"? Let's face it, we are bottom feeders in this league right now. If there was relegation in the NFL, the Panthers would be making next year's schedule with the Sun Belt Conference and just trying to stay in Division I.

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
    • This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft
