This has to be by far the worst WR/TE group in the league

Not ideal but you play the hand you've got. We are playing at home against a Bucs team that has a defense currently sitting at 29 compared to ours at 30. Get out there and compete.

As the #Panthers battle the Bucs today, keep an eye on the urgency in the offensive huddle. Carolina is putting an emphasis on quick messaging and rallying to the line to give a better opportunity for processing. For Bryce Young, it’s seemingly working:

This is what happens when you think you can luck into franchise TEs on day 3. Sure it can happen, but taking one before then usually works out better.   Sanders was starting to come on strong before the injury, but it's too early for a verdict on him one way or the other.  The rest of our TEs are trash.  I like Tremble, but he's a TE3 at best.

Things Im looking for today:

Bryce:  keep building on the things he's been doing for the last 3 games.  Better results in the redzone. Keep protecting the ball.

RB: more use of Brooks this week. 

REC/TE:  Secure the catch.  Cut down on critical drops.

Def:  Stay aggressive.  Contain Baker and lock down Evans as much as possible.

 

Dave  C : Don't get too cute in the redzone.  Use Chubba and Brooks.
