Probably going to depend on how severe that concussion is and if there are any lingering effects. A lot of guys recover, then you look at Oher and it ended his career. One of my close family members has post concussion syndrome and it didn't really show up in full until about 3 months after.

Glad Luke retired. I hate seeing these players get these concussions over and over. At some point you have to think about your long-term health.

Basically this, but I'm positive Hunter won't be available anyway. I would be shocked if Jacksonville passed him up.

He could be there when we pick it's all about how these last few weeks play out. If you mean if the draft order stays the exact same from now until the season's over then ok but realistically there will be changes. I'm hoping we slide to 4th if someone wants to trade up we're in business or if someone trades up in front us at 4 it could go QB -QB- leaving one player before we select. If you've watched NFL drafts like actually watched the draft someone always goes later then expected and others go earlier then predicted. If NE picks before us they're from all accounts taking a OT to protect their new QB. That's Cam Sheduer and then a OT leaving all options available for us. As crazy as it seems he could definitely be available when we pick.

I've read he's a better Chop Robinson and I'd say teams are kicking them selves letting him slip

That's all I've read and seen that he's a step ahead of where Micah P was at when he came into the league. And thats because they've trained together and he's been mentored by Micah with that info id want him with our early first pick that's a major impactful player.

As a hardcore Penn State fan, Abdul is a game wrecker. One of the fastest first steps you will see, the fact he is getting this type of production his first year at DE is insane. His potential in the league is off the charts.

I'd take Carter, but if you don't want Carter might as well try and trade back.

I wouldn't be against it, but I'm not sure there's going to be a team looking to move up at that spot. You figure it'd be for a QB, but I'm guessing Sanders goes before our pick so it'd have to be a team moving up for Cam Ward and I'm not sure that is likely to be the case.

If we end up picking #5 I'd probably favor taking Tet McMillan (if he's there, which seems unlikely), Mason Graham, Will Johnson or even Malaki Starks. Granted, Starks would be a better trade-down option.

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
