Nope. FA or later pick. We have too many needs on defense. I'd say trade back, grab a solid field general MLB, and get a second rounder back.

MLB is way down the chart of what we need in 1st couple of rds in the draft.

Who was the receiver we had that used to body catch almost exclusively if he wasnt dropping the ball his first season... was it Samuel? And he ended up buying a Juggs machine in the offseason. Iirc, by the time his contract was up here he ended up being one the most clutch receivers, if not the top, on 3rd downs. 

XL needs work but I've seen enough of his strong catches in college to be optimistic for potential. 

That said, WR is definitely on the list of needs. If you can contain Adam Thielen we're almost at checkmate. 

On paper ..next year AT, Coker and XL will not be enough IMO. Even if the rookies are improved next season we'd still need another reliable vet and a swing at WR in the draft.

The leaps and bounds of improvement we've seen from Bryce over year 1 -year 2 and within year 2 (post benching) is exactly why I won't write XL off yet. 

These guys aren't finishing products in the NFL. 

That said, T-Mac is, and definitely should be in consideration with our 1st pick.
