Bryce May Not Be the Answer

After a game like this with 3 fumbles and 2 TD (1 rushing 1 passing ) 2 INTs .  IIRC he lost 2 fumbles and we recovered 1. and 2 picks. But he did score 2 TDs.

He looked more inaccurate this game with bad ball security. But to be fair, the o line may have had their worst game of the year pass blocking.

I'm not saying this wipes out the progress Bryce made over the past few games. But this game really reminded me of his earlier performances this year and last year.

Saw alot of people on social media crowning Bryce and shouting down people that were more weary or cautious about it. Bryce has had way more bad games vs good games in his career.

I believe what this game did. Was basically tell us that QB isn't set in stone for the future.

If bryce has another one like this before the year is over. Expect Canales and Morgan to draft a QB somewhere in 2025 draft even if its later in the draft.

Bryce needs a perfect setup to play above average and it happened for a few games.  Any cracks in the overall team dynamic like today, he struggles. I think it's asinine to pour money and resources over all aspects of the team to prop up the QBs level to merely above average.  I'm thinking long term and if this Bryce looks like this again next year, it will be time to move on.

Y'all are weird.

Game to game your opinions change. Bryce will be the QB. Get ready for Tmac in the draft.

Also XL your time is up. Take your meme ass back to SC. Coker is legit.

Bryce Up Son!

How are we weird? He has had way, way , way, way more games of being mediocre to bad than he has had being even slightly good. People are still living off his college hype. Just because you out were great in college doesn't mean you will be the same in the NFL.

We are so desperate for good QB play that we will take just about any decent play from him.

Atleast bringing in competition should have never been off the table. Only a fool is convinced after a couple games coming off an extended benching.

only problem is alot of people took those few games from bryce and ran with it. And vehemently shouted down anyone who said anything bad about Bryce as he was resurging. That's my problem.  Im wondering what impact this game will have on those fans that were saying hes franchise QB based on that tiny sample size

I personally never said Bryce is the answer. I was never a Bryce fan but I acknowledged the success that he was having and it was starting to turn the tide on how i viewed him. But the game today, made me question him alot more and QB position in general.

I mean we are not a good team bro. I think he proved a lot since the benching. The teams we were competitive against were playoff caliber teams. This idea that Bryce must win every game with this horrible roster is kind of crazy.

He's no longer the problem. The entire team played bad today. This wasn't on Bryce it was on the team.

    • He's handing off play calling duties to fuging Brad Idzik as well so, either that mouth breather can run the playbook and Canales can grow as an all around head coach or it will be a horrible decision and both of them and BY can screw off. I'm fine with that as long as it isn't just another excuse for BY to get another year with another coach worthy of working around his limitations as a qb.
    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
