Same way we'd get one by keeping Bryce, I expect. Drafting and developing someone new.

i have a good feeling that Dave Canales wants to quote in quote get HIS GUY at Qb in this upcoming draft & here soon rather than later move on from Bryce Young

fitz is right about BY.

we view ranking 20th as a great/hofer, but it is mainly due to his first 17 or so games. Those games broke me too.

Far as the future, Id support ward and dump BY for draft cap. If not, then use a mid-rounder on a "sleeper" rookie and bring in a legit vet comp. By any means trade, wavier, FA.

I never said it didn’t count. I’m just showing how he’s performed since he was benched because he’s not playing like how he used to.

yeah I agree Bryce Young has pĺayed better here & there not so good these past 2 weeks nor of course  the first 2 weeks prior to his benching  & even when Bryce Young  played well at his best it was never nothing spectacular that left you saying wow !

ALL the Qb's on this list  would honestly look better on paper if i subtracted 2 or 3 of their worse games & some would look ALOT better than they actually are ...just saying

I don't hate Bryce at all, I just want better for this team.

Reading his post history he didn't think Teddy Bridgewater was the answer either but he's dying on this hill about Bryce haters.

And just for reference Teddy Bridgewater averaged 248.9 passing yards per game in 2020 which would be good for 9th in the NFL this season while folks like him are enamored over Bryce finally averaging 213 passing yards per game.

He's clowning himself here.

Kyle Allen averaged 255.5 back in 2019 which would put him 7th in the NFL this season.

I mean we've lowered the bar so much for a first overall pick it's simply laughable.

Kyle allen on this same team would have us in the playoff hunt...bc of the really week nfc south but still be playing way better than young

This ain't the draft to try do it. If he wants to trade Bryce and run with a couple Vets this year I'll be on board plus please no reaching for a QB this year

still way to early to tell things change so much so often .at the beginning of the year it was Sanders Ewers & Beck as the top 3 prospects now it's Sanders Ward & up for debate who #3  is ?

the Panthers at the very least should  thoroughly scout the top Qb prospects with a top 3 to 5 pick in this upcoming dtaft & if Canales & Morgan feel good about one then draft the kid & let Canales do his thing that he is good at which is develop Qb's . moreover you still never know how good next year's Qb prospects  or the year after that so forth & so on will be either .

look at the Trevor Lawerence Zach Wilson & Trey Lance draft class &  it was supposed to be one the best drafts in a very long time & what happened  it turned out to be the complete opposite

    • I hate seeing this. I'm not sure he was ever going to make it in the NFL without the injury but that injury knocked FSU out of the college football playoffs and cost him and them and opportunity on the biggest stage in college sports. The injuries are the worst part of this game.
    • I don't know what Texas A&M was doing with their edge rushers. They had two freaks in Scourton and Shemar Stewart and yet instead of turning them loose they asked them to play 20 lbs overweight and just set the edge. That's full-on coaching malpractice at any level. Much was made about Shemar Stewart's lack of sack production, but while he wasn't my favorite prospect this year a lot of that was clearly what they were asking him to do. The good news with Scourton is that, unlike Stewart, did manage to be a huge factor as a pass rusher despite this and despite playing 20 lbs overweight. If he can stay around 260-265 it should help him re-gain some of that explosiveness from his Purdue days.
    • I did, but again we're aware of the practice in college of inflating height/weight as well as what is considered normal and his freshman weight tells a lot. There was a recent Raw Room episode where at one point they were discussing putting on their "big boy weight" when they go to the pros. It's common for guys to have to slap on 20lbs over the summer, but King Dunlap mentioned having to put on 30 and how much of a toll that took on his body. That makes the idea of putting on 50 at the college level even harder to believe. I've got experience with cutting weight and that type of drop sounds just awful... and that's even if doing it healthy and not just turning yourself into a piece of human jerky. Having to add 50? Noooooo thank yoooou. I can understand wanting to take Scourton at face value, but we didn't take Bryce at face value either (and for good reason!). Give the recently posted videos a shot. I watched the one you linked even though I've already seen it, so why not extend the same courtesy? I think you'll find yourself getting more excited about his Purdue tape than you will being irritated by what you believe are false narratives being pushed. 😄
