Cousins benched in Atlanta

His release would be a black eye on the Falcons organization with Atlanta having to pay Cousins $90 million for 1 partial season of work where they wound up benching him. This would go down as the worst free agent signing of all time

The Falcons FO is getting cleared out if Penix doesn't hit. What a monumental failure it would be to give an old QB coming off an achilles injury a 4 year deal and then spend a top 10 pick on a failed QB prospect, especially when they desperately need defensive talent.

We do not have the right to throw stones at the Falcons. The Panthers are in the same boat. We just burned a boat load of assets and are staring down the same fate.

The Panthers could never win a game ever again and I'd still take the time to laugh at the Falcons mistakes.

The panthers one maybe shot for a win the rest of the year is the final game at atlanta they should save their energy and focus totally on this game lol.....but they may be laughing at the panthers if they come out dominate b young.

Up through week 8 atleast not a single falcons draft pick from 2024 had played a snap 

not sure if that’s still true.

Tough to play a full season in your upper 30's especially since he's coming off a pretty serious injury. Falcons bet that Cousins had more good years left, lost, and hedged their bet with Penix.
