All of Bryce’s weapons that left the team

No doubt, Drake Maye looks like the better prospect and I always thought he would project well to the NFL ever since I saw him 3 years ago at Carolina.  But he's also in a better situation both in terms of roster and coaching his first year.

Aren’t the pats skill players terrible besides Stevenson and isn’t their line one of the worst in the league? I’m genuinely asking I could have sworn I saw that somewhere.

How many Josh Allen's are there?  I think every team's wants a Josh Allen.  There aren't many available very often.   Look at Stroud this season when his oline and receivers haven't played as well.

You know exactly what i am saying

stoud has potential . He has the measurables. He has the intangibles

he does everything in his power to raise that team

what does bryce have. Seriously. Go look at the games where he looked decent and more then one, those throws took adam theilen herculean effort   Same fir other receivers

bryce young is nice to people. Im sure he is a good person

What he is not, is a franchise qb

Not many. Hence why you don't trade up for ones that have no chance to be.

I don’t have any doubts Stroud is a franchise QB. Only points to make is that he wouldn’t look nearly as good on the Panthers due to lack of weapons, especially last year. Conversely Bryce would have done much better with the Texans and looked like a franchise QB but I don’t think he would have broken records like Stroud who is the better prospect overall.

You can't talk sense to these people.

Lol we get it you hate Bryce so much that even when he makes tough throws it’s not him it’s the receivers. But when they lose it’s all him. I think we got it you don’t have to repeat yourself

The way I see it a couple bounces go our way since Bryce's return we've got 2/3 more wins against playoff calibre teams that we are much inferior to talent wise.

And the bounces I'm talking about is bad dropped balls and fumbles. Yes Byrce had a terrible day against the Cowboys. His true test is how he responds.

I do believe he's earned a shot at the job next year with true competition. But please bring in some better weapons and run defence. Because this argument is gonna go on forever until we can surround any QB with a competitive side to get a true answer

    • This is gonna be longest six weeks ever
    • This 1000%.  Hey who wants to sign with the guy that couldn't even get his client the guaranteed contract of a 3rd round pick?  Lmao
    • I don't think it's any weird or unique clause, it's the offset language, same thing so many contract disputes are over. It just means that including it, if a player is cut and then signed by another team, the original team would be able to subtract how much they're getting paid by the new team from what they still owe him on their guaranteed money. For example, it's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum last year with the Steelers as that was included in his Denver contract.  So if he signed with the Steelers for $1 million, he'd get $1 million less from the Broncos, if it was $2 million, he'd get $2 million less, basically he couldn't make any more money than he was already going to make, so you sign for the minimum to not take unnecessary cap room from your new team while giving extra cap room to your old one. The problem with trying to include it in rookie deals is that a team trying to include it, it says they think they don't really believe the player will make it 4 years with the team before they cut them.  And this usually comes up with one or two rookies in most seasons, the difference is it's usually handled much more quietly and not as public and ugly as this one. The other difference is that it's happening with the Bengals, which I believe I saw are one of the few (or only?) team that doesn't have protections for rookies in rookie and mini camps to be able to participate even if they haven't signed their contract yet.  The other teams have injury protections that allow them to still play, but the Bengals do not, which is also why this one is so public and ugly, as most the time this happens, the rookie is still participating in the rookie and subsequent mini camps, giving them more time to get the contract done before training camp when they'd then hold out.
