He seems to always get them a first down when they need it. I haven't really seen Laporta break games open like the other guys, either. I think they're both great TEs, just not really incredible like the other two you mentioned.

I've seen Laporta break tackles and take them to the house 50+ yards definitely not consistently at this point but yeah.

And that's exactly what I said Kraft does... hes just not a guy whose gonna draw extra coverage or break a game open.

Hurts is azz....

Dude is as accurate as a sawed off shotgun at 75 yards...   holds the ball forever too

Another QB who has been very ordinary after looking like an MVP candidate a few years ago.

I'd be nervous if I was the Eagles. With the way they dominated the box score in the 1st half that scoreboard is WAY too close.

Agreed they’re letting them hang around. I think Hurts just isn’t really that dude.

Herbert isn't all that surprising but Love and instances like Sam Darnold looking like the old Sam Darnold should be a good reason for us to not go out of our way to read too much into some of these recent games from our own QB. Plenty of quarterbacks have put together handfuls of good games and then came back down to Earth. It's hard to find the guys with staying power. Maybe stating the obvious there but it's difficult to have conversations about this here sometimes without removing emotion.

We're not going to know until we can actually get back into the playoffs. After that, well, I'll put it this way. There's a fierce argument about whether Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson deserves to be this season's MVP. Yet, neither have even reached a Super Bowl yet and it's guaranteed one will - once again - won't get there. Meanwhile, you had guys like Matthew Stafford, Nick Foles, and Joe Flacco win a SB. Purdy may be slandered for not being that good, but he at least could say he's played in two SBs.

Basically, you could have the best QB and not even get a shot for the Lombardi while you could have a mid QB and win it all. We frigging lost to a noddle arm QB

Texans and Bills also started slow, but they pulled away the second half. Eagles will need to do the same, and that starts by not allowing a TD here.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
