Is Legette going to take football serious or just enjoy being a meme?

He’s going to get obliterated by PETA eventually

He eats the stuff.  Nothing really to say.  Those animals live a better life before becoming dinner than the cow, pig and chicken I eat (who all are breed and live to just be a meal)

His goofy social media BS only bothers me because he is such a critically flawed football player. I really couldn't give two shits what he is eating out of the woods behind his house.

I mostly give shits about his hands that seem to be slathered in squirrel grease.

What does this have to do with anything? You think he is doing this instead of getting in his playbook every day? Do you want him to live in the facility?

Honestly, he should be. If he doesn’t have his own Jugs machine at home, then he should be there every day. Amon Ra St. Brown had a segment they showed during a pregame or halftime where he said he still takes over 100 catches a day from the Jugs machine. I don’t care about a squirrel but he needs to have a bug in his ear about becoming a hands catcher.

Goes way too overlooked because people just go "Good player good"....IT. IS. ABOUT. SYSTEM! The amount of times that people have seen a good player go to a different team and look like ass is astounding.  The reason is its about getting players that match the system you're running.  Cam was a god damned monster, but as we saw when we tried running a pocket passing west coast with him, it DIDNT go well.  Do I think McConkey could have been good here, sure, but he's a Receiver in the style of Thielan.  Look at the offenses that Canales has been associated with (And idzik for that matter), Seattle with DK Metcalf, and Tampa with Mike Evans as the big bodied outside guy as the X.  We did not have one of those on the roster.  We drafted XL to eventually become that.  Its simply the system calls for it.  Its not always about just getting the most talented player, its about talent matching what we are trying to accomplish.  Will he live up to it?  Dunno, but itd be like saying "I was shopping for a truck" and even if you got a regular truck people are like "You could have had this way cooler car"...we werent shopping for a car though.

I couldn’t disagree more. Successful teams draft the best player not the guy who physically resembles a former player in the system. Bad teams draft lesser players that fit their system.

We drafted like poo while Fitterer was here because he wanted to repeat what he saw in Seattle and he failed miserably. If you want a playoff team, you draft the BPAs and work the plays and system to fit them in. Do you recall Andy Reid/KC saying they drafted Mahomes because he reminded them of Alex Smith? Was CMC drafted because he reminded us of Stewart? McConkey would have been a great weapon for us, period because he gets open a ton and catches the ball like Thielen.

Geez, can we stop with this crap. Morgan is the GM, he worked with Canales and the scouts. They picked him.

How is it crap?   It's on a video released by the panthers.   She tells Morgan her preference and she would be fine trading up for him.

In interviews, it seems clear he knows people are laughing at him and his accent. He could ignore it, get offended by it, or laugh along with it. I appreciate that he chooses the latter.

Would you choose to be offended?

That’s even worse. He lacks self awareness. If he was an all rookie WR, then sure post your weird squirrel videos. But since he was a huge let down, a lot of people don’t want to see him broadcasting himself eating road kill.  Too bad he doesn’t have the same passion for posting videos of him hitting the jugs machine and improving himself on the football field.

People will hate regardless so let him live. None of it really matters at the end of the day, only what he does on gameday.

If he was posting videos of him working out, route running, jugs machine, who would be hating? Claiming people will hate regardless of what he does isn’t true.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
